Random account withdrawals, there is no rhyme or reason to when they pull. They constantly monitor your bank account and will immediately pull when they detect money so if you have to add money into your account to pay bills good luck. There is no way to disable the automatic withdrawals and 90% of the time they don't even notify you until they have already taken the money, plus it takes 2 to 3 days to be able access the money on the atlas card after they take the money.

I am on track for getting a mortgage which gas been a goal for sometime.
Very hard to close/cancel the account. I paid off the $9 balance and requested to have it closed because you can't actually do it on the app it self it gets you all the way to the cancelation part then the only option is "keep my benefits" so you have to open a ticket and deal with an AI that has basic skills. which that in it self was frustrating enough. Then they put a random fee on there so you can't cancel it.... Do not recommend. disconnect ur bank from plaid to get out of the run around.
The Atlas Credit Card is a pretty good credit card for building up the credit, save money with rewards on eligible purchases, and avoid interest charges. It is very easy to get approved, as you simply need to validate your identity and link your bank account. The on-time bill payments will help to build Credit Score with all three major credit bureaus.
Not to sure how I feel about Atlas, there is a lot I do not like about it. No live chat or 800# to call for a live agent, they withdraw your $ & make you wait till it clears to use it. (1-3 days) Must use an ATM with fees, to withdraw $, no cash back on purchases at registers. Only e-mail correspondence with CS.(1 day wait) So, I'm unsure of this program & if I will continue to be a client in this app. Would not recommend to friends.
it sucks !! for the most part.it was easy-to-use, BUT when it.came to.uour bank info. kept saying that it didn't like it. so i went to my business accounts. i was told it needs a real account to use it. then the kicker was the code numbers and pictures. they kept switching back and forth. like 9 times. It's like they don't want to give you $1000 bonus for getting the card. Nor the $50. Cash for not getting the card. make up your mind, people !!!
Solid app coding. Good features for the most part. I really don't like the forced promotions that limit your navigation within the app. Such as adding my direct deposit, or inviting friends. If I don't want to, stop re routing me when I'm trying to do other things in the app. Very annoying. Credit score increase remains to be seen.
there is not enough room on here to describe how many issues I have had. I agreed to the $8.99 a month but I didn't agree to them taking $18 out of my account whenever they feel like it. They have taken over $60 not including the membership fee. I've been trying to cancel my membership and they make it impossible. keep saying that there has been an error and will not let me cancel!!! my next step is calling the BBB!!!!! ALL of their comments are paid people DONT FALL FOR IT!!
just ANNOYING. can't even open the app without pop ups that take over the entire page. You can't exit out of them. it feels forceful. I've been trying to get my money back/cancel the account for days now, but can't do that with all the pop ups! there's no option to delete the account or the membership, only gives me the option to upgrade when I want to do the opposite of that , no support to easily contact, the "support" is a bunch of useless articles. Won't let me turn off daily smart pay.
Do not... I repeat, DO NOT... download this app and/or sign up for an account. It is impossible to get in touch with anyone to cancel/close the account. I have been trying for about a year. Emailing customer service because there is no phone number you can call, with no response. The help bot in the app will tell you someone will contact you to complete the account closure but they never do. This is a complete scam. Be warned!
0 stars Their customer service is mostly AI, the rest is made of agents who don't read what you've written. I had difficulties using my card and couldn't get to an agent no matter what. I decided to close my account and received an email saying I was going to have a transfer of the remaining balance, I didn't have a balance. they said 3x it was in its way then changed their mind its no longer coming and you can't access your account to see what happened. horrible experience.
definitely worth it. I originally downloaded atlas while searching for something else entirely but the concept caught my attention. after just a few weeks I decided I was going to keep the service and paid for the annual membership. In just the 2 months I've been using atlas my credit score has jumped 30 points, and that was before I had all of my income going through the account. easy to use and understand the services offered.
Just submitted a third ticket to cancel my membership because they keep canceling the tickets over me not replying to an email they never sent. I stopped using the card and submitted the first cancelation request on 8/31, but they have continued charging my account for transactions I never made, and support pretty much told me I was out of luck when I finally noticed. They've taken $103.12 since I quit using the account, and I had to get my bank to block transactions from them. It's a scam.
I absolutely regret switching to atlas. deposits from employer arent reliable. you don't know when your deposit will go through. supports main answer is "I don't know". my credit rating shown by them is up, then down, then up, then down. they don't help your credit much. The one pay card does so much better. I can't begin to explain my regrets on using atlas. Edit: their response was the same thing I get through customer support.

I have tried to cancel. They keep charging me. You request to cancel, create a ticket, and it still doesn't work. Lousy! You would think they would be more on top of things. 🤔🤨 Edit: Reported this company to my bank. I logged back in today to see the conversation I had with support in the app,and my account is "temporarily restricted" it says. There's something not right about this company. I would be very leary of working with them.
Very predatory company. They charge 4.99 a week to "unlock" your spending power, which is probably $10. You'll most likely never use it and even disconnect your bank. Well that 4.99 stacks each week till the end of the month and then they charge you $20 for a service you didn't even use. Then when you attempt to close your account they'll warn that it will harm your credit. If you're considering this app then you most likely have bad credit. Skip the headache and just get a secured credit card.
Above the rest. I've recently taken an interest in my financial background and investing. I tried a dozen "money' apps and credit building. it didn't take me long to navigate and get comfortable here. so far, I like their methods. realistic. more professional in every way. the others make me feel like I'm playing with kids and color books. the membership is a little steep but cheap banks ain't good and good banks ain't cheap thanks guys. 🫵😉🤙
The app is good if you need anything account to help build credit. However, it constantly puts me in overdraft, even though it says that it checks your balance beforehand. However, it gives you 1-hour notice that it will initiate a smart payment at 9am; Smart pay being a feature that you can not turn off, only postpone, even if you have direct deposit set up. If that feature were to be removed, at least for those with DD, this would easily be a 4 or even 5-star finance app.
DO NOT APPLY!! ITS A SCAM!!! they charge you from the moment you are approved, and even if you ask them to close the account, they will keep it open to incur 'outstanding balances' and refuse to remove them so that when you finally get them to actually close the account they will threaten to send the 'outstanding balances,' from you not even using the app, card or account in anyway after thinking the account would be closed because of your request, to collections.
