I like this service and features better than LifeLock. The app and web interface need a better UX design so that it's easier to know where things are supposed to be. Clicking on passwords and alerts on app doesn't work. For the incoming screened phone calls, it would be better if it displayed the caller's name rather than "Aura" all the time. Screening is a bit wonky as I don't know who's actually calling and about what if they don't leave a message. Nor do I want to miss an important call.

I love the service and the features, but the android app is flawed. I've recently had a lot of trouble signing into the app, and then some features are not working properly like the anti-virus scan. Even though I have permissions granted for aura to scan, it tells me I need to go to settings to grant permission. Also, I have trouble clearing transaction alerts. Deleting redownloading the app should not be necessary to fix the problem.

Good protection. However, I need customized spending alerts by account or payee. I get entirely too many alerts that are really pointless. ALSO, why does it take SO LONG for the app to open, if at all? It's random on how long but sometimes won't open at all. That is concerning to me. 06/01/25 Responding to the reply: there's no update available/indicated for me to install. It still takes forever to load when I get a notification.

I was mainly looking for password protection, but reading how the free security sites were being scammed. What drew me to them was their relationship with Firefox. Since loading and learning. All representatives speak clear and easy English, like my 80 year old ears. The only negative I've encountered is they limit my visible passwords to 74. I have well over 100. I can type in to find, but at my age, it's difficult to remember all the sites. A longer visible password list would help.

I downloaded the app and set everything up. I had all 6 badges. Then, next time I log in, badges are missing, which means I have to go back and redo everything. I tried to scan my device, and I have to reopen the settings. I click on the open settings button, and it doesn't want to open my settings, like it initially did. It doesn't seem to save much, I shouldn't have to redo my biometric settings every time I log in. I would probably change my rating if the app functioned properly.

It seems that the different platforms where this application is available do not work together and connect with each platform. i have Aura on my phone, desktop and desktop browser extension. There is a list of data brokers of varying types that say that the browser extension is required and will not process through, even with the browser extension or while using the extension. The interconnectivity between platforms is severely lacking.

Impressive app. Coverage for everything you have. The app is easy to use and each category can be setup in just a minute or so. While working on one topic, the app is already protecting your identity, and on potentially compromised passwords. For the cost, it gives a strong level of protection. GET IT NOW! You can always cancel in a couple of months.

Run don't walk from this company. I spent a month getting everything setup on my devices. when it came time to renew instead of renewing the account disappeared. Sadly aura had no idea what happened. They did reinstate with me paying again but all my data and information was gone. I'd have to enter and link everything again. I would recommend going elsewhere. Im getting tired of the app constantly crashing. One minute it's working fine, then it freezes and i have to uninstall & reinstall just to use it again. And then after all that...you guessed it...it freezes! The only thing that's more useless is the customer service; which is just an AI that tells you to re-download the app instead of fixing anything. I know there's something better out there & once i find it im done with this garbage!

(Update: they finally fixed the android password manager!) The password manager has been broken on Android for a long time. Also the virus scanner doesn't work even after allowing permission to all files. The number they gave me (technical support) never reached out. Yes, I have tried clearing the cache and reinstalling the app, to no avail. They better fix this soon, or I will take my business elsewhere. There is no excuse.
