Won't update as of today. Update 12/20/19. Had to unplug auto agent and reboot the system. Not the first time it's glitched or disconnected. 1/27/21 Constant issues connecting and must unplug the darn thing from the OBD port to reset it so it'll connect to the app. It finds and connects to the wifi of the agent, but the connection doesn't happen in the app. Barely use because of this issue.
Reviews for Auto Agent
← Back to Auto AgentAbsolutely love the app but would greatly appreciate the ability to add more than the maximum amount of 8 gauges to the screen I would like to be able to view at least 10 digital gauges on one screen. I also would find it very helpful if it would give the the option of audible warnings instead of red numbers.
First and foremost, the app does its job. However, it needs simple customizations. I prefer the gauges layout, but every time I start the app, I have to choose gauges. Why not have the ability to make the gauges layout the default? Ability to change color theme? Option to have more but smaller gauges (like the app Torque allows)?
Love the Auto Agent 3 I have easiest device you can use to tune a vehicle 30 minutes tops and that's just the first time you have to do it.After the initial tunes it only takes a few minutes. when you use it to make money the less time you spend the more money you make.
Incredibly easy for a person without any experience. Tech Support is very good. I'd encourage anyone to buy the EZ Tune hardware and software. Spend the little $$$ extra $$$ for lifetime updates. They just updated the torque with Transmission for smoother shifting. I trust these guys.
I love the setup but it is very basic. Wish they would add another tile page that you could swipe over to and look at different gauges. Also to be able to customize the gauge cluster a bit more so that way doesn't it doesn't look so plain. Wish it looked as good as the CTS2. Also could add a way to customize the tiles and gauges while not having to be in the vehicle. Very Basic! Will change review if changes are made.
Truly, I cannot rate this app. EZ Lynk Auto Agent was installed on my '15 Ram Cummins this past Monday. I received an e-mail telling me that my installer "handed over" my truck to me, and I should "accept vehicle". I have tried this close to a dozen times. It asks for my email and my password. I enter my email, but have absolutely no idea what the password is. So, I click on the "forgot password" button and am. told "To reset your password please follow the link that we sent you to (my email.address)". However, I have yet to receive the link. Additionally, if I click 'create an account' and enter my email address, I receive a notifocation, 'Account with this email already exists'! Auto Agent might be a good program, but I cannot access it. Any help rectifying this situation would be greatly appreciated. When/if I am Finally able to access and use this app, I will fix the appropriate number of stars. UPDATE: FINALLY, on 31/January 2021, after trying to log in yet again, I was successful and was able to plug in and access EZ-Lynk. AutoAgent2. Nice to see all of the various gauges and settings. Still trying to find out how to change the HP.settings. Will provide additional updates after gainig full access.
Virtually everything I could ask for in a tuner The only thing I completely hate about this is, they removed the ability to see what tune you were using when you have SOTF tunes installed. You really have no idea what tune you are in so you could be in the street tune while towing and burning up your engine. Seems like it would be easy to add back in. Using the barometric pressure doesn't work. Otherwise awesome tuner, awesome app.
The app overall is fairly easy to use and is decently laid out. However when I have the app up on any phone, several gauges will freeze and others will not. I have to exit the dashboard screen and then go back to it for them to work again. It happens consistently and it's very irritating to mess with driving. Please fix this.
I absolutely love ezlink. Being able to use my phone for monitoring my system or a tablet is great but and this is a big butt. There's no way to sort your flashes to find the newest one easily. So if a new version comes out it takes forever to go through each of them to make sure you've got the right one. On top of that it loses connection to the Wi-Fi link between the computer and the phone over and over but that could just be a problem with Motorola. Overall I'm very happy with it
I've used this app for a while now. I love it. Its great for everything I use it for. I only wish I could adjust my fuel tank size so my drive to empty range was correct since I went to a larger size fuel tank Edit: They updated app so I can finally adjust Ram fuel tank size. It's amazing. This app let's me control so much for my truck!
Took me awhile to bite the bullet and spend the dough but this is the best tuning platform on the market.
Grats and easy app to use.
Works awesome, only change would be not defaulting the speed to 50 mph on initial setup. Didn't realize it did that and had no throttle response after load. Thought it may have been a fuel filter issue and spent a 25 degree morning changing fuel filters in the snow. After sitting at a truck stop for several hours figured out that there is a default setting set at 50 mph, if not for that definitely 5 start.
For tuning, no problems. For gauges......meh. Awesome when it works. Constantly locking up and freezing. Randomly disconnects and searches for reconnect. When it reconnects it always removes trans line psi and tcc lockup tiles. Just aggravating. Especially when trying to monitor egts and trans values. It's now 4/18/23. Same issues. Did all the steps recommended from support. Still freezing issues. Apparently AA3 solves this issue with a usb hard line. They should have a trade in program!
Great info I wish I could customize how the dashboard looks
It's got bugs. I can connect my WiFi to the autoagent 3 but the app still tells me I need to connect. Sometimes the gauges freeze. Sometimes the options for gauges revert to a basic version where many gauge options aren't available. As far as tuning though, super easy to load a new tune once it's actually connected.
need better discipline of tunes for better selection.
All in all a great way to tune your vehicle. The gauges though are ok. Hard to read them sometimes and it's always 8 different sensors at one time. It would be better if you could customize the gauge layout to display fewer and bigger. My phone is in a holder on the dash, so some of the small gauges I can barely read. At least have a large 2 gauge setup for boost and egt.
The app works good for the most part. This is the second truck I've had it on. On both trucks the EGT readings began surging between 243 and 2000 even when the truck is off. To get it to reconnect after a firmware update, you have to unplug the module for 10 seconds and plug it back in.... The only problem is they tell you not to turn the key off or unplug it, but I have left it in my truck for over an hour trying to "restart".
