My 2006 Ford Focus was sent to the local auto parts store. There I got a free CEL check. it revealed problems related to the cooling system but couldn't tell the exact issue that my car is facing. Frustrated, I splurge on this Automend Pro and it perfectly solves my situation. It was the thermostat that caused the problem and when I replaced the thermostat, the car went on smoothly again. Awesome.

I'm trying to log into the app for the second time since I've had the device, but it doesn't log in. I desperately need to run a scan to find out why my check engine light came on today, but I can't get the app to work. Very frustrating and very inconvenient!!! Decided to try setting up a new account, but it only allowed me to set it up. It wouldn't run a scan and it won't allow me to use any of the functions of the app.

I have a Cadillac CTS 2009 that I sent to repair the other day. The next day the vehicle started to be jerky again and when I came to the same mechanic, it required even more further repairs. Much to my frustration, I decided to splurge on this Automend Pro and it alarmed me 8 car issues. But guess what, only one of them required parts and it did not cost much at all! What a genius device.

I bought this for my BMW which I was taking a gamble since most of these that I know do not work on BMW. So let me start by saying I was doubtful and did not expect much. I received the item and followed the directions. Ran the system and the codes came up. Found out what the issue was with this and was able to fix it and clear the code. Great device for the price. This support both Android and IOS so far that I know. Get it already!

I'm happy it cleared my check engine light! No more headache whenver the check engine light comes on! The app pins points the exact issues with your car. There are some minor issues you can fix by yourself but you still need to bring the car to automobile shop for serious problems. FOR EVERYONE HAVING TROUBLE: Turn on the Bluetooth mode before scanning vehicle. Read the manual instructions clearly before using the device as well. Took me a while to realize that my Bluetooth hasn't been turned on

It's very small but sturdy. Once you figure out how to install it, it works wonders. The fact that it is a bluetooth device makes Automend Pro very easy to use. You download the app, install it on your phone, plug it into the interface port, wait for it to scan for trouble codes, and you just saved yourself a fortune.

It won't connect to the OBDII scanner, and no luck reaching customer support. It only sees the IOS option, which is obviously useless for Android. I tried multiple times to connect to the iOS option with no luck. The android option is in my phone Bluetooth settings, but not the apps. However, the app does see my TV...so if you are having a bad day, just remember some programmer made his app ignore the version it was supposed to connect to, and show the wrong one...with everything else around it.

The only issue faced when setting it up is that I drop the device several times before successfully connecting it, since the port is under the console. There is no satisfying "click" sound when inserting, but checking the app will let you know if you got it right. Other than that, It works perfectly fine.

Everyone with vehicles needs this! Unless you are the mechanic yourself, or live with one, or have one as your best friend … otherwise you need this! The app notify you when your car is in need of oil change, tire rotation or any other service. Since I am not a car person, these things have never been readily on mind. I absolutely love this gadget.

It works! I like the app interface. It's so simple and yet provides tons of information and it gave me the exact DTC codes I was looking for. Definitely recommend to everyone. Very good product for the money. Had some trouble physically putting it in the physical connection port to connect at first but had to jiggle it then it connected totally fine

So far my Automend Pro has been holding up great. Awesome little piece of products. Definitely one of the best bang for the buck. Cannot believe I used to put off buying this item for so long! This tool gives great advice on most of the common fixes and what is more convenient is it also recommends where to buy the possible parts. Great device at such a very reasonable cost!

I do have a couple of codes coming up on my car - ones I was not at all surprised by, but that also shows that this works! I might not be a mechanic, but I understand how an internal combustion engine works and why certain common issues happen such as a hole in the radiator can cause overheat in the engine. With this tool, I can be even more informed when I have to take my car in to be worked on.

Yesterday I had the check engine light on. When I plugged the device in, it informed me right away of what was needed. But the best was that it also told me the exact price range to fix the problem. It really feels good knowing what is needed. This device tells you about the battery, tires, and even windshield wipers. You can also track your maintenance schedule. You may have a legitimate reason for difficult connection, but most people who can’t connect seem to be not following instructions. Read it clearly and turn on the Bluetooth mode before scanning the vehicle. Took me a while to realize that my Bluetooth hasn't been turned on when I couldn't scan for vehicles. Great interface to let you see the data. First time I encountered it, the app could run no longer than 10 minutes. I use an iPhone and when I unplug and replay it in it works great for 10 minutes. Not sure if it’s overheating or other reasons. I was contacted by Automend Pro support in regards to my issue. They had a well written resolution for the issue I was having. I downloaded the app first, It was easy to install and easy to run. Then I hooked up the unit in my 2008 Ford F150 truck. Mine is right below the dash. The bluetooth connected easily, next I asked it to check for any error codes. There were none which makes me feel pretty good. I've put a lot of miles on this truck and it seems to be doing just fine. If I had a wishlist to make if any changes, I'd like to enlarge the font just a little bit but then its all my own preference (for my ageing eyes). But for all the rest, I have no complaint.

I bought this because well, my check engine lights seem to come on to often, and I got tired of running to the auto parts store to have them scan it for me.I can see a lot of uses for avoiding issues that might be coming up, or simple testing of things like the battery, etc. You can read your engine timing and other things like that. Overall it really worth the purchase.

Before I always dread whenever the check engine light comes on because the reason can vary from imminent catastrophic failure to loose gas cap to anything else. And I have never been a car person. The only option was to pay lots of money with sheer hope that the vehicles will eventually be fine. But now with this handy little device, you KNOW the issue BEFORE seeing the mechanic.
