Been using AutoPad — Ambient Pad Loops for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you play these really cool sounding pad loops with just a tap. Pretty solid if you’re into making chill, atmospheric music.
Here’s what you do – there’s a bunch of preset pad sounds you can play around with. You can just tap a key and it’ll give you this nice, looping pad that plays for as long as you need. And there’s a setlist mode where you can save your favorite combos. Took me a while to figure that part out but it’s useful.
Look, if you’re into creating ambient or electronic music, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the sound selection is a little limited and the UI can be a bit confusing at first. But overall it does the job and it’s fun to mess around with.

So here's my take on AutoPad — Ambient Pad Loops. I've tested a bunch of music creation apps and this one's pretty solid. The pad sounds are really well-designed and it's super easy to just start layering them together. Definitely helps add some nice atmosphere to tracks. The setlist feature is also a nice touch, makes it easy to save your favorite pad combos. Couple downsides though - the sound library is a bit limited compared to other apps, and I found the UI a little clunky at first. But for the price (it's free!) it's a pretty good option if you're looking to experiment with ambient pads.
