Description
Been using AutoPylot for Drones for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that makes flying drones a lot easier and safer, whether you’re a hobbyist or professional. Pretty solid if you’re into that kind of thing.
Here’s what you can do – there’s a built-in B4UFLY status indicator that tells you if it’s good to fly in your area. And you can also request LAANC authorizations right in the app, which is super convenient. It’s got a bunch of other features too like airspace maps and checklists.
Look, if you’re into drones and need an easy way to fly legally and safely, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a little clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you’re a drone pilot.
Editor Opinion
So here's my take on AutoPylot for Drones. I've tested a bunch of drone apps and this one's pretty solid overall. The FAA approvals and features like LAANC make it a really useful tool for pilots of all levels. And i'd say the user experience is mostly good, though the UI can be a little confusing at first. Definitely takes some getting used to. But once you figure it out, it's a pretty powerful app. Probably the best all-in-one option for legal and safe drone flying.
