Reviews for AutoZen-Car Dashboard&Launcher

I just need to see my music player withou screen turning off and occasional call. Those two features work well. The only problem I had was addressed by support in one day. Thanks. Great app

I like the improvements made, Here We Go Maps was a nice add. I hope you can add the cockpit's car in the map, just like the google maps feature

The best car launcher for phone I've found. The layout makes it perfect forncar use as additonal dashboard screen if you don't have android auto in your car. If the feature that allows you to customize your route with additional stops in between will be implemented, I won't need anything else to use this as a daily driver. My favourite small feature is that the app allows to start and exit automatically when a specified bluetooth device is connected or disconnected.

This was the best app for me that I could find for easy use of mobile in the car. Have given the maker a few more ideas on customisation. But for the money.. Bargain 😍

Every time I try to change and option on the screen it takes me to the settings menu, where there's no back button or option to return to the dash screen. The phone's back button takes me to my phone home screen and I have to launch the app again. Very frustrating

garbage... subscribe to premium & nothing happened. NOTHING... & how exactly do they pic your favorite apps, cuz it looked like they picked their own & could only remove, not add.. everything it said it does for premium, it doesn't!! Don't waste your $ folks, ain't worth a dime nor the space on my phone. uninstalling this garbage right...... Now !!

I've used your software for years and experienced numerous issues with it. To your credit, the current version is significantly better. I updated my subscription to the Premium Plus plan & offer the following comments. Overall navigating with "Here Maps" is significantly better. It is faster and more accurate. That said, more directional colours in the map's streets etc. would make navigation easier. Car symbols would also help. Having it connect to wear and my watch etc would be a major +++.

This is a good app with some minor issues that I hope to work with the developer to resolve. yes, the premium plus cost is a little pricey, but I believe a lot of that is going to the mapping company for use of their premium map api. well worth a look and you can try premium for 7 days free.

If you're expecting android auto level of cohesion, you'll be so disappointed. Using autozen made me wish I never opened it, nothing makes sense. Placements, how the map functionality is tied in. Etc... It uses mapbox regardless of choosing waze. If you want waze it pops your screen out to waze only. No music on screen. That's not what I want. I want split screen on my head unit like android auto does. What in the world are you devs thinking? I'll pay $250.00 for android auto in self mode.

Hello AutoZen Support Team, I am unable to log into the AutoZen app because every time I try to sign in I receive a “Something went wrong” error message, and I have checked my internet connection on Wi-Fi and mobile data, cleared the app cache and data, restarted my device, uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version, verified my login credentials multiple times, yet I still cannot access my account, so I kindly request your team investigate and resolve this issue as soon as possible.

this app is great, the UI is similar to Android auto, but with steroids, also the launcher mode is a hidden gem, I can setup widgets and more. I can see people complaining that it doesn't work with the car, this app will not mirror to the car, you need to install it as standalone app and it works flawless, the dev is always updating and it didn't abandoned the app like other launcher over there, yes it can't use Google maps but it's due Google maps restrictions not because of the app itself.

I'm getting used to it, with the understanding that it can't have all of the functionality of Android Auto. Wondering, however, if there's an option to keep the map either oriented in the direction of travel OR north up. I prefer North up, as it makes understanding direction of travel easier

Most disappointing about the native Mapbox provider is that it does a terrible job of rerouting. If I choose to take a slightly different way home, it's slow in rerouting and puts me on streets that are further away from my house than closer. Result is that I have no confidence that the AutoZen navigation will correctly take me to my intended destination. It's a good thing I actually know my way home! You're better off selecting Google Navigation or Waze, instead of AutoZen, for navigation.

Edit: The developer responded quickly to my complaint. Their suggestions worked, but it won't read texts aloud. It displays them- but that's no help when I'm driving. It uses WAY too much battery. Not the app for me. Original: "Can't find settings anywhere. Needs an option to switch temperature to Fahrenheit. Stays on the map rather than having a home screen. I find having the map open at all times very distracting when I don't need it. The map seems to be turned sideways? Displays weird."

I downloaded AutoZen since Android Auto doesn't work unless you set a destination. This app for right now is the replacement BUT there are some issues that need to be fixed to get four/five stars. 1. Clicking on some shortcuts - IE Google Podcast doesn't open the podcast app. Instead it opens google. While driving this isn't safe while you have to go through your apps to find the actual app you want. It sometimes this with YouTubeMusic app as well. Sometimes it will open Youtube itself.

Paid for the full version because YES it is that good! BUT, the maps seems to be too zoomed in while driving and the arrow icon is a little 'blurry'. I just wish you could set the zoom on the map while still being centered, or it automatically zoom in and out based on the speed you are going (like the maps in other launchers). Music integration is fantastic and the customization is something I haven't seen in other dashboard/launchers. Thanks for the awesome work, can't wait for the next update!

I wish there were more than 2 map view options. I cannot see the road names in satellite view. I also wish the map layout could be the direction I was driving (I think some maps have "keep north up" option which is very useful. I really wanted this map to be all that others aren't but I don't think it's there yet or at least for me anyways.

You have to get the Premium version for in app Navigation. For nav the app uses Mapbox. Fortunately you get a 7-day trial to check out all features before paying. Don't bother with the free version, especially if you a are looking for an Android Auto alternative. I've been using Android Auto for years and just purchased a car that does not have it. Although the premium version works as advertised I find it a lackluster alternative. Mapbox has its weaknesses compared to Google Maps

I love this app. It is a great alternative to not having a touch screen in the car. The fact that I can switch music apps and my favorite radio stations with the touch of my screen all while having the maps still going. I really like the fact that it starts up as soon as I connect to my Bluetooth device connected to my radio, which is just connected through the auxiliary cable. The only issue which is very minor your actual speed limit does not change colors if it's over the posted limit.

A great option for the car. Has a lot of potential and does some things better than Android Auto did. I will be leaving to something else and coming back at a later time though due to a few things. Like I am not a fan of Mapbox (HERE would be better I think), there are too many events that take you out of the app ruining the automated experience, and battery life seems harsher. It has a lot of potential though so I paid for Premium to support the dev and I will be back!
