Easy and quick to enter... very useful app thank you for developing it
Reviews for AVAX Blood Pressure Diary
← Back to AVAX Blood Pressure DiaryThis is an excellent app which is spoiled by a small handful of choices made by the developer. The app is feature rich and well presented but the notifications do not work for me and I have been unable to resolve this (I am a systems engineer). I dont like the choice of cloud backed storage nor do I like the ongoing subscription license model, other than these, this could be an absolutely awesome app.
It does all that is needed in a very user friendly way. Stats are on point and accurate. I suggest Premium version because the price is peanuts, you got additional features and we support the developers who did a wonderful job
I don't know if this app would work because at the final step it just wouldn't move so I never got to finish setting up. If I can set it up successfully, I still don't know if this app will monitor my blood pressure or do I need to enter my systolic and diastolic figure from a physical blood pressure monitor into this app for analysis. All right. now I know. it was my mistake. Blood pressure trackers are not able to monitor blood pressure. They are not meant to do so.
This is a great app, and after heart surgery, something I was looking for to record my BP readings. It is full of functionality, and even with my limited tech knowledge, most seem easy and intuitive to use. I had occasion to contact the developer over an issue, and got a wonderful quick response, which totally resolved my query. Well worthy of a 5 star review!
This app has been so helpful in my fight against high BP! It reminds me to take my medications and which ones to take. The constant reminder to take my BP is the biggest plus! I have to keep a log of my BP readings. When I go to the Dr. I just show her my logs from this app, which shows the time and date automatically! This is truly the perfect assistant! A+
I've been using the app most days for the last three weeks, to record my BP to see the effect of modifying my medication. I find it quick and easy to enter readings, but now I am beginning to collect queries . . . I take my readings in threes - is there any way I can display readings each day, and a daily average ? I have found how to set the input form(s) so that I am only asked for BP - but I am wasting so much data collecting ability ! but what about sleep patterns ? I use Fitbit as well
Having the experience of carting pages of random BP readings into doctor's office, I finally surrendered to putting it all online. What a welcome change. It's so motivating to see the changes over 30, 90+ days. This program makes progress so visible and easy to track. Special kudos to the developer of the app who provided dedicated personal service w/technical issue. Couldn't be more pleased.
I am unable submit a help request through the app because it will not keep the keyboard open to type my info. I have a paid subscription that it isn't seeing. I have reinstalled, cleared cache, and restored purchases and it acts as of it is restored at first, but as soon as I go to another screen it brings back the ads and locks features I already paid for.
AVAX seems straightforward and simple enough a child could use it without help from an adult. Settings are vague. For that, it may be helpful to put an information icon on the setting controls. I need to track my vitals every day. Though when looking through the app, it does have BP, HR and Weight but no area to log what my SPO2% is at. I will rate it higher on next update, if you could add a log for SPO2% free. I feel it should be on standard version.
Good record keeping app. It enables quick entry of blood pressure, weight and medication tracking. One issue is if I don't check off taking of medications at the moment that I take them, I cannot type date & time that I took them later in the day. I am using the ad free version.
I use this for keeping track of hypertension. Works well, I like that you can export the data to a csv file.
Overall good design, but crashed so frequently that I stopped using it.
Only used it for a couple days so far and find it fairly useful. Two ideas: 1) when I look at data entries, it displays the most recent data first, and oldest at bottom. I want to see the oldest at the top. Being able to sort this would be good. Same with exported reports; I want the data to be chronological. and 2) the date format is american. When adding historical data I have to manually select the date. Very weird it wont align with my device setting of ddmmyyyy. I cant change it in settings
After more than a month of collecting data to 3 different (free version) apps, I have a best feeling about this app from AVAX. Design, adaptable user interface, results pages, graphs with trendlines. Beside of blood pressure, pulse, you can follow-up also your weight. If you go to visit your doctor you can print for him a beautiful report with all data and graphs. Reminders and follow-up of your medication is just a nice cherry on the top of this very tasty app. Very nice !
The app is amazing to monitor my daily Blood pressure readings, but... 1. The graph does not seem to be accurate. 2. Though I am on 14 days trial for premium I don't seem to have all the benefits of premium membership and finally 3. I tried to pay for the annual subscription using PayPal and debit card and it's showing an error. Have been trying fot the past 4-5 hours.
Not worth the download as this app contains ADS in order to be a free app. Not worthy of keeping this running on my phone to record blood pressure readings.
Best BP and glucose tracking app I've found that's cost effective. It also tracks weight and a couple of other data points. At its core, it's a BP tracking app. I hope that in time, the glucose tracking features will become just as prominent and robust as the BP features are today. That would make it a full five stars in my book. As it is: the best available at reasonable cost. Recommended!
After 1 week I rated this a 4, then I wrote in some questions/suggestions. I was pleasantly shocked to get an answer! Within a half-day if I rmmbr right. And with a couple email exchanges I learned better how to maneuver the app and left them w one suggested change. Now, yes, I love it. I especially like the notes section for each record, the exportability of the stats, and no ads.
I REALLY like this app. Right now I'm only using it to record blood pressure and weight. It's quick & easy to enter. I've been using it for 2 weeks. Just one heads up, if you use pounds (not kg) change the measuring units to "imperial" before entering your weight. It defaults to kg. I didn't know this, and when I entered my weight (approx 135#), it defaulted to kg. When I changed measuring units to Imperial, my weight suddenly read about 297#. 😂 Thankfully, entries are easy to edit.
