It took a bit to figure out where bookmarks were but I live this app now. The only thing I miss is searching from a highlighted word but other browser list that ability as well. Maybe I accidentally shut the option off. Great app and I plan to pay for a yr once I get my new fone activated this week.
Browser worked well for a few days, but now closes automatically whenever I try to use it. I attempted to reset the browser multiple times, cleared the cache, and uninstall then reinstall the app, but nothing worked.
Love this browser! However, it is not working as of the last couple days on my Samsung S24+. Device updated and since then, it crashes almost immediately after opening, even after deleting and reloading the app.
broken , constant reminder of the app closing..will not work on my phone, constant crashing. never tried to really use because I have the avg secure VPN.. soo if theirs a conflict between the two idk I know my VPN works. but for the browsing option I'm not sure and have try a few times to use this direct secured app ..just keeps closing, so I never really tried till now.
Very irritating. 1) I keep some websites open and no matter what page the site was closed on, it always goes back to a different page, one I haven't looked at for weeks. 2) Links in emails and WhatsApp don't open. The screen flashes, then nothing happens. I have to copy the link and paste it into my browser myself. 3) At certain times, the app decides that it won't open any sites at all for "security", when I had them open a couple of hours earlier. I'm going back to Chrome.
update: yes I complained to the 'app developer' link below and was given an automated email that, "this email is not monitored, please reach out via...". fix yo 💩!!! and fix your contact info... ________ unable to use. the app will open long enough to type part of a URL and then it just closes... not off to a good start with this browser change... 4/29 problems persist... not thrilled I've paid for vpn and anti virus and now I can even use the browser on my phone?
The mobile version of AVG Secure Browser still crashes very regularly and consistently for me on the latest Android platform/Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. This app is completely unusable by me in its current state. I cannot in good faith recommend this app to anyone on Android.
So far it's terrible. Go to a sites then it keeps popping in and out everytime I press a button Terri it's terrible this will be second time I've written something things you go to a site pops in and out just every time you put your key I wrote this before and then it disappeared I've got a writing again yes uninstall
I thought that this would be a great application, but I've had to recertify the activated even downloaded it and paid for it several times because it kept thinking that it was an unpurchased item. There seems to be A LOT in this application and I for one will be complaining about it to try and get my money back or at least reallocated within the same company. Good luck to anybody else that downloads this application, though!
I purchased this app a month ago. Worked fine at the beginning, however, few days ago the app stopped connecting with the server. Tried Uninstall/reinstall but this time couldn't restore my purchases despite all my trials. Have sent more than 10 follow up emails to the app customer service without any solution. I would give the app 0 stars, but unfortunately it's not an option. Stay away from it!!
