I’ve been using Avia Weather – METAR & TAF for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that gives you all the weather info you need if you’re into aviation. Pretty solid if you’re a pilot or just really into planes and stuff.

Here’s what you can do – it pulls in METAR (current weather) and TAF (weather forecasts) for over 9,500 airports around the world. It decodes all that technical info and displays it in a way that’s easy to understand. There’s also a runway crosswind calculator, which is super handy. Oh, and you can get NOTAM alerts too.

Look, if you’re into aviation weather, you’ll probably love this app. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a little clunky at times – but overall it’s a really useful tool. Worth checking out if you’re a pilot or just a weather nerd like me.

So here's my honest take on Avia Weather - METAR & TAF. I've tested a bunch of weather apps and this one's definitely one of the better ones, especially if you need detailed aviation weather data. The amount of info it packs in is impressive, and the crosswind calculator is a really nice touch. But it does have a bit of a learning curve, and the UI could be smoother. Still, if you're the kind of person who nerds out over METARS and TAFs, this is probably the app for you.
