The only reason I gave 4 stars was because of having to receive a code via text every time you sign into the app. That gets a little aggravating when you need to look at your balance really quick. Other than that, the ability to get an advance when needed has been a life saver and the ease of navigating the app has been really easy.

This app sucks! I got arrested free 30 day subscription, it's almost been 3 weeks now and I've been trying to close my account and it won't let me. I've written support 3 times now and they have still not closed my account. They are SCAMMING me, when I manually try to close my account it says i can't becausac"new accounts take a couple days to be processed before you can close". AVOID DOWNLOADING THIS APP ITS A TRAP
Would give 5 stars but their customer service seems to consistently confuse themselves on what the issue at hand is. Although their service is usually quick and in the end gets settled, it's a bit time consuming because of the chat or email. Only service. Different agents will pick up throughout the process instead of having one from beginning to end
Yet another scummy financial app. I made the mistake of using a 3rd party to apply for a loan, and B9 somehow got ahold of my information, so I decided to check it out. You are required to set up direct deposit with them, which is not normally a requirement for loans, which is what I was looking for. They automatically, without even telling you, enroll you in a $9.99/month subscription. And then they have the audacity to say that they can't close my account because it's too new. Unbelievable.
I haven't even had a chance to use it because every time I go to search my employer it automatically logs me out of the app. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, I've tried contacting customer service for help and all I keep getting are emails and text messages saying "looks like you're having trouble adding your employer"... no resolutions! How can I add my employer if it keeps logging me out before I can even search?!
Not much of an experience so far. App won't scan my ID always saying it's to dark. I have tried every type of light possible. I have tried countless times, it just does not work. And I have been in contact with customer service. Talked to 4 different reps and they all say the same thing. Even the specialist they gave it too wrote back telling me to make sure I'm in a well lite area. I sent screenshots showing how perfectly lite and clear my ID was and still I only get the same answer.
Paying a ridiculous 8. Just so they can isolate some of my paycheck and cost me between 10-20 to send it over to my real bank. I thought app would have some good faith at least in taking a chunk out of each of my paychecks. PLUS I'm paying. Yet none. No choice for it. They want me to pay 20 a month and have 800 sent in everypacheck. Go figure. False advertisement. It's not awful, but it does not help you whatsoever. And will isolate the money into this app just to charge you monthy.
There are fees for EVERYTHING. You even have to pay a monthly fee of $9.99 or more (depending on plan). There are fees for taking money off to another card (minimum of $2.50 depending on amount), fees for using the card to spend anywhere, fees to add money, etc etc. It's totally not worth it. RESPONSE TO DEVELOPER: There is even a $2.50 fee for using the card! That's ridiculous! There is no situation where it's okay to pay a $2.50 fee for making a purchase as low as $1! Y'all are greedy.
This is the best app for getting advances as well as the easiest plus you unlock a higher limit with your next direct deposit. The reason for giving only 3 stars is because of the monthly plan that's required along with its ridiculous price. Also, because B9 is not a bank, alot of companies either don't accept them for bill payment or charges a higher fee when using them as a payment method.
Don't use. Very misleading. Signed up for direct deposits because of the perks. Turns out you don't even get them unless you want to pay for everything. Then on top of that, my check somehow got rejected or denied thru their direct deposit and I have to wait for a paper one to come in the mail. Tried to file a support ticket and THEY WANTED TO CHARGE ME FOR THAT TOOO!! Dont waste ur time. Google them!
