Description
Been using Babyname for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that helps you and your partner find the perfect baby name. Pretty solid if you’re expecting and can’t decide on a name.
Here’s what you do: You connect the app with your partner and then you both swipe through tons of name cards. And if you both like the same name, it’s a match and gets saved to your favorites. There’s also a cool feature that shows the meaning and origin of each name – that’s pretty neat. And the app has over 30,000 names, so you’ll have no shortage of options.
Look, if you and your partner are having trouble picking a baby name, you’ll probably find Babyname really useful. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a bit annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
Editor Opinion
So here's my take on Babyname. I've tested a bunch of baby name apps and this one's one of the better ones. The swiping mechanic is simple but effective, and I like how it syncs with your partner so you're both on the same page. The name info is a nice touch too. My only real gripe is the ads, which get old after a while. But if you don't mind that, it's a pretty solid app for finding the perfect baby name.
