So here's my take on BACtrack View. I've tested a bunch of sobriety tracking apps and this one's pretty solid. The video breath test feature is really cool and makes it hard to fake the results. And it's not the most polished app out there, but it gets the job done reliably. Compared to some other options, I'd say BACtrack View has a better balance of features without being overly complicated. Definitely worth trying if you need this kind of tool.

Description

Been using BACtrack View for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you do remote alcohol monitoring – you take a video of your breath test and send it to whoever’s keeping an eye on you. Sounds kinda weird but it’s actually pretty useful if you’re trying to, you know, prove you’re staying sober.

Here’s what you do: you just open the app, it walks you through the whole breath test process. There’s also an option to add notes or a video explanation, which is pretty cool. And you can set custom alerts so the person monitoring you gets notified if your levels are high. Took me a while to figure out how to do that but it’s a handy feature.

Look, if you’re trying to rebuild trust with family or get your life back on track, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the breath test can be tricky to do and the app sometimes glitches – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you need something like this.

Also experiencing the issue where I couldn't login anymore, reinstalled, and now the app just crashes continuously

Horrible, they take your money, then the app doesn't work, and they do not respond to emails. Do NOT download!!!
