Reviews for Badi – Rooms & Flats for rent

thieves! you charged me twice for the Gold subscription and buried the listing. I received 1 message in 48 hours. you won't reply to any email. Give me my money back you bunch of scammers! fyi I have used this app several times in the past so I know that you have changed the way ads are pushed. you took 40 euros from me and the ad hasn't been seen by anyone. Refund me immediately for service not provided and for double charging me now!

Probably useful, not in my case. I've gotten multiple offers for rooms through this app. Unfortunately they're all from countries that I don't live in. Despite my location and all my searches being in London UK. People in Barcelona seem to think I'm looking for a room there. I've checked and double checked for a setting that says where I am. I can't find one. So if it exists then it's hidden and not obvious. I like that the app remembers your previous contact message, but that's all.

Almost useless without paying Badi Plus, otherwise the number of matches is limited and you cannot even answer queries from interested people. The app doesn't let you add your phone number/email in the add description, forcing you to pay. The paid version is quite useful though, so it's up to you being willing to pay 10 eur

SCAM APP. Badi used to be great but these days they only care about making money. On Badi my room got 3 message requests, but on Idealista (a similar app) about 50. I thought the problem was my listing so I reached out to customer support and they told me my listing had been deactivated (nowhere in the app was this visible) and I had to pay for premium to reactivate it and get more viewings.

I really like the idea and with a couple of adjustments this can be something for the future. First; Let us adjust the price range so that this who invite and request are on the same page in terms of the price Second; If you're already have booked a place, make you're status as booked and from when you are available to rent from So with few adjustments the app can find profiles with more solid matches and that would make it more effective and easy to use.

The usefulness of this app has plummeted. On my latest attempt, I was contacted by several interested renters but the app would not let me reply to any. Kept saying that I needed to pay for Plus in order to reply. They should have specified this before allowing to publish my useless free ad. I won't be paying for Plus as I have absolutely ZERO CONFIDENCE in this organization as the help/contact buttons don't even work and a mail was of course never answered.

I tried to use the mobile version of the website. Nope. Ok, app then, I thought. Couldn't sign up and create an account with the email, Google, or Facebook options. Everything I try, it always says "whoops there was a application error". Awesome.

I'm giving it four stars because the sign up process was relatively easy, and the app is smooth and up to date. Unfortunately, I can't use the app because I failed to completely read the description, thus to my surprise finding out that this app is only available in some strange land called Europe. But yeah, I would use this app if I were traveling, and would recommend this app to my friends who do travel. 🙂

Great initiative, but it has a lot to improve. The user can only request to talk to a landlord and in most cases there's no answer. It's clearly being used by agencies, which I'm not sure was the initial purpose. They put one room in the app and ask to contact elsewhere to show other places. You set up a profile for a couple and the app keep saying you're "a good fit" for ads that are not for couples, quite annoying push notifications. It definitely needs more follow-up from Badi's team.

First Time User. Looks like not many using this app at the moment but determined to give this a try after a rival spare room type app I've used for 15 years is now swamped with Company HMOs.

filled out all the information then could verify my number because of the 'oops' message. such a waste of time. I've emailed but I dont know how long they'll take

I like the fact that you can (and have to) outline your personality in detail on your profile, but it's rather frustrating that these parameters are only partially taken into account during the search process. For example, many women specifically indicate they only want female flatmates (which I completely understand), and yet their listings still show up in my search results. Filtering out search results based on incompatible parameters wouldn't be a particularly difficult adaptation.

It's very frustrating to make a booking request and waiting 24h to get a confirmation not even knowing if the request was read/seen. Users don't respond (at least in Barcelona) and not all are verified, or have incomplete profiles (languages should be mandatory). A filter for age preference of the person who offers a room would be very useful. Lot of room to improve. *Later edit. After two days of sear hing I saw that one of users I sent the request too raised the price from 400 to 1200 Euro.

worst app to fill your details I have filled my details many times but it's not accepting

worst app i try 7 time to uploading information then showing same message woops there was an application error

No notification of messages and it's hard to find them, the unread messages are not at the top. The filter for number of flatmates doesn't work, and it shows me on the map and in the list places with 7 or 12 people despite putting a maximum of 2. It displays 3 flatmates and then you click on it and it's actually 5 bedrooms often.

Seemed so promising, until they decided to become a new model of a real estate app agency. Charging the tenants 100 euros fee for trying to rent a single room for 3 months 😱 and not giving the option to contact de landlords without choosing to make the first payment through badi (the fee covers only the first payment as " the rest of the payments have to be coverd outside the app". There are so many better ways for finding a place! Will certainly not recommend or use it to find a home.

The Badi service is good. The app has a few issues for me. I don't get notifications for new messages on my android phone, notifications are working fine for other apps. This has been a problem across two of my android phones now. This worked fine on my iPhone. When creating a listing there's a bug that marks the apartment without a lift no matter what you select when publishing. This does not happen on web version. Also a nice to have - Messages do not have a time stamp.

If I could give zero stars I would. The app allows you to register but doesn't let you log in after that. "oops there was an unknown error" seems to be the story. I've tried using a number of different emails to register, it does the same thing. Seems like a data collection app for god knows who. - Thanks for responding to my review with an email address to reach out to. I've already wasted my time sending dozens of emails and I've not gotten any responses.

Would be nice to turn off the ability of others to send me proposals to rent their place. I already found a place through the app and I'm not interested in others seeing or pushing stuff to my profile. Now the only way would be to delete the profile which is annoying. Also, the "report a bug" and "chat with us" buttons do not do anything when I click on them. Alas, I am submitting bug reports through the app review.
