Very limited functionality. I needed to be able to make flights where customers can order mini cakes and select multiple flavors but have a minimum of 6. I also needed an option where customers could select gluten free, vegan, or sugar free of any selected item for an uncharge. Neither of those functionalities were available.

I just wanted to check the app out, and I wasn't digging the way it's set up. It makes you add payment information before you can even look at it. Normally, this isn't an issue, but I can not find anywhere that gives me information on how to cancel my subscription. It should not be this difficult to cancel a subscription.
Been using Bakesy since I started my Cottage Food Business and have loved everything about it. When I run into log in issues, the team is fast at responding to emails and being extremely helpful. Have had no issues with inputting orders and customers receiving invoice. I recommend this app to everyone in the cottage food industry.

the app is great... they have put time and thought into this app, which allows me to offer a professional appearance for my customers. Easy to navigate set up and to make changes. The customer service help desk messaging system is very quick to respond and assist with things when needed. It's budget friendly. and always improving and upgrading features so the customer experience becomes more and more seamless. Definitely recommend this app.
I love this app for my hobby business. Its affordable for me, easy to use, and customizable. Give it a try if you have a small business and your needing a website to send your customers too to order from. I've had zero issues with it.
The app has potential. At the moment the only benefit for my business is the ability to block off a week at a time as I require a week's notice for orders. My issues-invoices print with Bakesy's logo as opposed to my biz name. No way to edit/delete a menu item, instead you must unselect it & add new entry with correction (time consuming). No tax feature. Not all of my customers require a deposit. If I put the order total at top, 0.00 for deposit, amt due in balance field, total due shows 0.00.
Editing to add:I love the new updates! The only feedback I have now is that it would be amazing to have a drop down in the invoice to send pick-up date/time/address reminders within the invoice! I add the address in invoices, and people still message me asking for it! And that the "notes" section in the invoice be present at the top of their invoice versus the bottom. I put information they need in the notes, but I don't think people actually scroll down that far and miss it. Love bakesy!!!
Love this app! It's revolutionized my ordering process and made things so much better! Only thing I wish was available is a feature to add to an order in pending status. I recently had a customer add to her order shortly after paying her deposit. I had to make another invoice for her to accommodate it. Not too big of an issue at all, but would offer more convienece. I also can't believe how afforadable the platform is! It's perfect for every home baker!
The app is good, but not without its glitches. The ability to create and customize your storefront is good, and the invoicing works pretty smooth. Thst being said, linktree is necessary in order for anyone to access the shop, which is kind of a pain(an additional unnecessary step, IMHO). My customers also don't receive emails or texts related to reviews, after product delivery, even after being sent multiple times. This is another hassle.
The app is easy enough to set up. I spent hrs doing so with product even though you can't build a creative website, which is ridiculous for how much they're charging per month, as there are websites that charge a lot less and you get a full website. set everything up only to discover they do not offer shipping within the app. even square offers shipping within the app. and you get a free fully customized website. with what you're charging home bakers you're not equaling meeting with value
Love it so far! Just wish I could add my business logo to the invoices. As well as not require a deposit on every order because I prefer certain orders to be paid in full beforehand. Just being able to mark the order complete/when they pay in full the first time which goes back to the deposit and not being able to by past that. So far loving the updates!
Love the app! Although I am finding that people are not scrolling down far enough to see what I charge per dozen. They just click the request order/quote button and are not scrolling down far enough. It would be great if pricing was right there with the request order/quote button so people know right away what the cost is. I have been seeing where I get an order and invoice them, and they end up canceling due to the price. If they knew what the price was, maybe that wouldn't happen so much.
Love this app! Very user-friendly! No complaints from customers either. Three things: 1. A way to select pick up and delivery date and time. 2. When you select deposit paid, you can add how much was paid, and it updates the balance without having to go back into the invoice itself. 3. A cake cost calculator included in the premium package where you can price your products. It should include hourly rate, overhead, supplies, ingredients cost. That would be so helpful! Would pay extra for that!
