This is honestly the worst app to have to do anything on. Just trying to make an appointment is an ordeal and when I finally get all the details entered and I'm at the final screen, I hit "Make appointment" and nothing happens. It's highlighted in orange, so I know it's selectable, but it just won't work. And then I try to hit the back button and still nothing happens. I went to the website and was able to make the appt in 1 minute. This is so frustrating! It's been years like this.

This is a great app, but the appointment scheduling is frustrating. As someone else mentioned, there aren't enough general complaint options available. I mean, you have urinary problems, how hard would it be to add a GI problems tick box? And why not allow progress if only the text box is used? My hospital has blocks of time for urgent or last minute appts, no Vet assigned. It would be nice were there an option for that.
Love the vet, but your website and app are just awful. They never work. Ever. Today it took me to my dashboard just fine, let me halfway make an appointment for a pet, then couldn't connect to the availability for selecting a date or time and kept saying "something went wrong". So I tried on the website, but it wouldn't load any of my pet's profiles and had a blank dashboard. So I went back to the app, and what do you know, all of my pets are gone from it also and the dashboard is blank.
The old app was a lot more user friendly. With the new changes made to the portal, it has become incredibly inconvenient. As someone who has multiple OWPs, I was able to go into the portal and select the plans I need to pay. However, the new portal makes me initiate a new payment for EACH animal which is redundant and very time consuming. Aside from that, access to records is available at the tips of your fingers!
The app is great but it does not sync. I set an appointment online (by way of an email reminder) because I forgot I had the app. Due to work, I needed to change the time so, I went to the app. I could not find the appointment. I set a new appointment for a more convenient time. There was no cross reference alert notifying me of double booking. They should consider syncing online logins with the app.
The app is fine for basics like making an appointment or checking history, but overall it's not very helpful. You can't modify the wellness plan (even though it provides the option it won't actually let you change it online, you have to call). You can't edit your pet's name. There's also always an "alert " notification that something is overdue but when I click to check it out everything is up to date. It's usually easier just to call the store and talk to someone.
Crash everytime I tried to log in. Only works if I close the app, reopen it, and try login for the second time. Does not have the option of "stay login", so have to manually do that every time I use the app. (Update) The app is convenient to check when the vaccines and exams are due. It's also very easy to make vet appointment and chat with online vet 24/7.
It was a great app to start out with, I could see all the information of my cats' shot records and medical procedures done and I loved it. But now when I open the app it won't load anything, not even my appointments or my cats' profiles. I tried logging out and logging back in, nothing. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, no change. This app is super buggy, please fix it. Would also be better if it had all the same access as the website does.
Each time I login with the correct username and password it says "unable to log in". Then, if I want to press forget my password, it doesn't recognize my email address. I receive emails from Banfield on the email address weekly...not sure what is going on here. Deleting the app does not work either. This is highly frustrating as a wellness plan member.
This app is so frustrating. It's slow to load, and it's a nightmare trying to find an open appointment, because there's no clear way to see the availability of the doc you want, other than clicking day by day. The vet chat is useless, always saying that you should bring your dog in, which is impossible anyway, because they're always booked weeks out. The options that they gave for type of appointment is limited, and no one reads the notes you add.
