Reviews for Bankin'

"OK" Tool. If you just use it to have a quick look of balance it works very good. Daily balance emails also make personal book keeping easy. However, in-app "advanced" functionalities such as budget are hard to use (bad UX design), even with Bankin Plus. It is very hard to talk to support and overall tool is not that great. Would not pay for premium package again. Edit: the software has more and more bugs. It has been more than a month that I am waiting for the "premium".

The app is quite great overall, but there are lasting issues with certain banks (axa) that make it annoying to use. Upon opening the app, bankin start a syncing process, making my bank send validation notification or sms, and that everytime. At some point it is problematic because you never know if you get these because of bankin or someone that try to access your account :/

The app pretty much stopped syncing my accounts. I tried removing and re-adding them, but now everytime I do so I get a notification that tells me my accounts are syncing and it might take a few hours - which actually never ends. It was nice while it worked - kinda useless now that it does not.

good app i use for years now. I like to have a global view on all my accounts! a bit annoying with all the suggestion, optimisations stuff and such, but i can understand that. Still, have been annoyed by sudden synch problem, time to time. (today, for some reason, the app was empty, no accounts, no data, nothing. all the infos, and synch worked again later. I'm working to synchronize all my accounts again at the moment. this kind of little problem is annoying

Customer support quasi inexistante, but reacts when you ask firmly. I got my issue solved, thanks to customer service. Unfortunately I needed to cancel the subscription due to technocal incompability with my accounts/device , becasue the app would have been very useful , and it does have nice add ons .

I've enjoyed using Bankin' and keep finding extra features making it even better. I've been using the trial run and decided I was keen to upgrade to the full shebang but was shocked to see it costs 20€ a month!!! So I won't be upgrading... Ironic seeing as the app is meant to help you cut back on expenses......

The app seems useful, however since I deleted my pro account, all my personal accounts stopped working (I did not delete them!). And I did not get any response from the support. In the end, after 5 days, I still cannot use Bankin. I will edit this review when I can finally use the application. Update : the frustration is such that I downgraded my review note even further. Fortunately for Bankin it cannot go down any further now.

The app tries to sell you products in every single page. The experience is horrendous, navigation is bloated with their upsell mechanisms, I don't trust them at all and I prefer using something else. Deleting your account is a tiny TINY link in the account page.

Great app, useful and user friendly. I like how it gives me a bird's eye view of the main categories of expenses and keep track of them. The only improvement I'd suggest is this: if you have a differed debit card, the expenses are subtracted twice (each expense individually + the total debit card expenses at the end of the month)

I've been using it for a few years, it's a little less aesthetic than other apps of this type but I find it easy and practical to use. Though something is bothering me. Why would you put Pets under Entertainment?! Pets are part of the family, it shouldn't appear under Entertainment in our monthly reports! It looks like I'm partying too hard when I'm just feeding my pets. Edit: This was an old review (2020) that I edited but I have switched to another app since then. Thanks for replying anyway.

Barclays just won't synch. I have no records for the last couple of months on all 3 barclays accounts. I followed all the "new" steps but every time there is error. After few years I will cancel my subscription and lose all my records. Shame Below is my old review but unfortunatelly there is no real customer support. Hate their chat bot. I had few problems with the app but I contacted the customer support and they was useful. As you can see now my review is updated from 1 to 4 stars.

I think this app is very good and practical to use. Yet there are some key features i am missing: - provisional spendings with automatic ticking when spent (I pay my rent and other subcriptions at the end of the month, yet I know them in advance) - impossible to create a manual spending or split withdrawal into category. You HAVE to use your bank card all the time for tracking - i spend once a year (or every other year) some subcriptions, and I would like them to be spread on the entire period.

After using it more than 4 years, today I unlinked all accounts and deleted the app. To stay updated, the app logins often (as it should be) to the accounts but this causes the passwords expire very quickly because each password is valid for a certain number of logins (80 logins for Hellobank for example). Also, it doesn't bring an important value with the free version. Better stick with the native bank apps. The last thing is lack of dark mode. Thanks Bankin, for serving me so far.

It seems to be a great app, but unfortunately too frequently I bumped into screens fully in French. As an English speaker, I ended up with a big question mark about what was going on. If you're going to open for more markets (apart from the French), please make sure at least English is properly covered up. I can't pay for an app that I won't be able to use in its entirety.

Very good app, easy to use. I'm able to add most of the banks I have an account in but not all of them unfortunately. Also when choosing the budget goal there are too limited options in my opinion and there isn't one that fits what I actually need, not that that's a big deal I can use another one that's close to it. I like the app and would recommend it to other people too.

The accounts setup and synchronization works amazing, but that's pretty much all this app has going for it. I've paid for a subscription and I still see way to many ads or ad-like content. The interface is far from customizable enough to set it to my needs. Data export doesn't work. Even the help chatbot doesn't work. So none of my main uses for the app work properly. At the moment I don't recommend it.

Uninstalling. I've had it. Some of my accounts have not updated for a week now and that's not the first time. These guys seems more interested in throwing their opportunities and growth stuff (which is nothing but disguised ads) down my throat than to keep the core of the app working. Update: Checked again and they have upped their fraudulent "suggestions" that you cannot avoid. They've slso added a bunch of annoying buttons where they want you to use their app for transactions etc.

I really want to like this app as it has a lot going for it. However, I have had a technical issue open since September last year regarding a problem budgets I also think the categories are a mess - other apps allow full customization including deleting, adding, moving and amending categories and subcategories (in the app you can only add). However, this app charges you €10 per month and you can't even choose a cute icon for your category /subcategory - the icon for all new categories is a pen!

It has been months (yeah, months) that not a single transaction is visible in my bankin' app, making it completely useless and unusable. As a developer myself it appals me that such a critical bug takes so long to be fixed. On a paid for service too. Reached out for support ages ago, nothing helped

It's a nice app, but it needs improvements. For the moment it just aggregate your bank accounts. It would be nice to be able to also create manual accounts and manage them like other apps (AndroMoney or Wallet, for instance), or to also manage Tickets Restaurant inside, or cash money, or create custom budgets...well, to be more free to operate, I mean. Now we need to use more than one app to do all of this
