it's OK. I like the barcode scanning for free. I don't like that I can't modify a custom food that I entered, specifically change the name. I also don't like that when I copy a meal from another day to today. it doesn't automatically take me to today. You have to scroll back to the top and scroll back to today. then make adjustments to the meal as needed.

self explanatory, keeps it simple. compatible with my samsung smart watch to track my steps, scanner to easily import foods. helps keep me accountable and also acts as a form of self care. it also unlike other tracker apps it doesn't lead into false numbers, taking your burned calories and adding them back into your intake to consume for the day. im a binge eater in recovery and currently starting zepbound its helping keep me accountable in real time.

I haven't yet used all features, mainly using the tracking and daily journal to keep track. It helps me to stay on track for my new journey that I just started. it kinda reminds me of my health app. I like that it gives suggestions and has the foods that I consume making it easy to record exactly what I'm eating. I like this app.

so far so good it takes a couple of tries with the voice but it is so much easier to just scan the barcode and enter in the serving size that you consume and trying to find the correct strength training is really annoying unless you know the exact name of the equipment/machine that you are using at the gym I am a visual learner and I don't always learn the name of the equipment but I am very happy with the app

There is a little bit of a learning curve to this app. I am 2 days away from bariatric surgery in overall, I am finding it very handy as a tool to remind me to track my food. Even now on the liquid diet before surgery it keeps me mindful of having my protein and getting enough water. You can even track your number two! There is a section for daily notes where you can log your mood or any particular text that you want regarding anything else that day.

The app is very useful and easy to manage. I like the reminder to take my vitamins at whatever time I set. The food, water, and all the other tracking options are so handy to see my progress and make sure I'm meeting my goals! The option to view resources to help has been very helpful for myself and for my aunt who also uses the app. Would highly recommend to use!

Love the app, but something has changed. With the last few recent updates, I can no longer click on the widget to take me directly to the food log or water log. It only takes me to the home screen. Now I have numerous clicks to get where I used to go with ONE click. Also the calorie count on the widget never matches what's in the app. Please fix this.

Automatically brings up the food you need. You can scan a barcode for the food as well. Super simple to use. I can see when I need to increase my protein and calcium. I would like it to show me what vitamins I still need. I have used other apps and this one is simple and it keeps me motivated to use it. It keep track of so many things together and links up with equipment.

It's a very helpful app for all bariatric patients. My providers aren't part of the Baritastic program but it still allows me to use it and keep track of my goals. I love having the widget available to see my weight loss progress! I can track as much or as little as I want without having to pull out a notebook and jot it down, then go find the nutrition info for it. I recommend.

I love that it really helps me make informed choices about what I eat, how much exercise I've gotten, etc. Logging foods is easy with the code reader that fills in all the nutritional info for me, or I say something like "half a large skinless chicken breast" and it'll do the rest. I wish that it separated fats into saturated & not, & allowed editing of meals & recipes.

I really like Baritastic. I find it very useful for tracking my food, water intake, weight, exercise, adding progress pictures, and measurements. I like that you can enter in recipes and meals for tracking food. I also like that I can have my smartwatch connected to the app, so my steps automatically get logged every day. It gives me goals for my weight and calculates my BMI. I have been using this app since before my surgery last November and I really like it.

Overall, this is a pretty good app. But the functionality of building your own recipes is terrible. You need to be able to choose from a list of ingredients here the same way you can when adding to your daily log. As it is now, you enter the ingredients, go to the next page, only to find out you phrased it wrong, and zero sugar creamer becomes sugar and creamer listed on separate lines.

this is an ok app to use i like that you can talk and it adds it for you. The exercise area to add is nice too. Like the bar code is easy to scan. The only thing is that it should have a place to add just your drinks like it does for water. So you can monitor your intake of caffeine. It would be nice to see your actual intake like it shows your water. But overall I give it a 4 star 🌟

This app is amazing. It is free. it's easy to find most foods; from fresh foods, to prepackaged foods, to restaurants! It has many healthy recipes and it allows you to input your recipes and it calculates all the macros for you! There are sections to record weight, measurements, water, bowel movements, etc. It even makes charts for your progress It has a before surgery and after surgery options. It connects with some bariatric offices too. It's also great for anyone not pursuing surgery.

I love this app. It makes tracking my food so much easier. I have written my food down in food journals since the beginning of my weight loss journey, so adding those foods to here makes it easier for me to get the calculations correct on my journal as well. The reminders and alarms are helpful, too. I would like if all is the serving options were the same for all foods though. I go by grams, ounces, and tablespoons often, could those be added for all please? Percentage and fractions are good.

is an amazing way to track my progress of my weight loss journey! even though my main goal is to have a hernia fixed. it turns out there are way more steps to take before I can get there! this app helps me share all my dietary details, keeps track of my water intake, exercise and more. it's even congratulated me on the weight I HAVE lost so far! I don't normally leave reviews but I hope this helps make it easier for others to know how helpful this app really is.

I can't believe this app is FREE. A friend of mine recommended it because I couldn't justify spending money on MyFitnessPal again. I'm not doing any sort of surgery, but I needed a way to have similar features for less money. This costs me nothing and I get everything I want in a food tracking app. I can log my food with a barcode scanner, make adjustments, tracks my water intake, bowel movements, it connects to my Fitbit, and so much more. And no ads! Highly recommended!

I like this app quite a bit. It's the fourth one I tried and it was recommended to me by my bariatric surgery team. I like that you can add new foods and make your own meals. It would be nice if they added in some kind of info about portion sizes and examples in pictures. The only down side so far is that the options for choosing your serving sizes varies depending on what item you choose (cups, oz, g, tbsp, etc.) It would be nice if all options were available for every item input.

Edited 2/16/2025: Changed to 2 stars. Trophies not loading. App crashes when adding pictures. App support does not respond. I love that I can track my food, movement, etc. I don't like that my recipes are hard to add. Or I can't edit the serving sizes when creating them. Also wish there was a way to add decimals to water intake, see which trophies to strive for, and edit the exercises I input. Also, you can't see what trophies are available to earn.

As a bariatric surgery patient, it is helpful. My biggest gripe with it is that I am told to keep track of certain things in ounces, protein drinks for example, yet the only option of measurement that the app has is a whole bottle. So for instance my Isopure drink is 16.9 ounces total and I only drink 5 ounces, I have to do the math myself and figure out what percentage 5 is of 16.9. Very inconvenient right after surgery when I was exhausted and wasn't exactly thinking clearly.
