This app is so good, I went and purchased it after 2 minutes of trying it out. Nice sound improvement without a need to fiddle much with settings.
Reviews for Bass Booster & Equalizer PRO
← Back to Bass Booster & Equalizer PROstopped working. i used this fpr volume boost for the gym butthe volume literally doesn't change when you move it past 100%. used to work. now it doesn't. very disappointed because I paid for this
Bass Booster & Equalizer is the best Equalizer I've come across in many of my Android gadgets. It's easy to use and won't consume so much time to configure. With just a few touches during configuration, you will obtain a clean and clear music output you will love.
Pretty awesome app...freaked Me out when I first engaged it worried I may blow My phone speaker out...customized EQ settings 25% bass boost, 150% overall boost...pretty freakin' optimal tool if you know how to mess with the settings for custom options...but no worries, there are ample presets if you're too fearful of sabotaging yourself.
5 stars for the application itself but unfortunately it creates a rapid helicopter beating effect over every song I play when activated and on default settings. (Changing settings has no effect or remedy for this issue) 🤷🏻♂️ Player's tested BLACKHOLE, Spotify Premium and YouTube Music Premium. 3 Stars deducted as it unusable until fixed. Devices: Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro and 10S running Android 14 (All devices and software are up to date).
This is actually the best app I have ever seen the Bass sound is is spectacular.. But you people need to do something about the app just stopping on it's self an a period of time, that's very bad and annoying 😞 you people are trying please just try and fix this error of increasing itself it will be sounding very deep suddenly it changes and becomes highe please fix it....
Nice interface with mediocre app under the hood, especially for pro version. I was hoping that it actually allows you to control gain (to compensate for too large default steps of EQ volume) but sadly, this is not the case. The volume booster distorts the sound too much to be actually usable and the EQ also harms the sound quality pretty bad (even while flat, but the extreme presets make it even worse). If you care about sound quality, PRECISE VOLUME PRO is better in literally every aspect.
Used to work perfectly but when i use the 10 band equalizer now sound always drops in volume after every song by a bit until its a lot quieter and every so often when i change songs the audo distort heavily and turns unintelligible. Both are fixed when i turn 10 band equalizer on and off again. Otherwise good EQ
Great APP but takes too long to launch. I've tried a lot of sound equalizers, and this one grants the best free experience. The only drawback is that it takes too long to launch. In a Pixel 9a it's a full 10 seconds before you can use it.
The best £3 odd you will never regret spending! Fantastic app, enhances the sound of music so much. The presets offer powerful bass and clear treble. Ideally used with "lossless" music files, not MP3 ones. My favourite preset is the "rock" one.
What an exceptional app... In my opinion, the Bass Boost and Bass Boost Pro are without question one of the best apps for increasing the different levels of music out there. It features a built-in bass booster, 10 ban equalizer, and virtualizer. Not only does it elevate the bass to a clean listening level without the muffled inside a cave kind of sound, it comes with a multitude of presenting options, and you can customize as many settings as you like... can't go wrong.
Top-tier but the 10-band causes too many issues to be usable. Can prevent music from starting or if you skip 15 seconds there will be no sound. Pausing/unpausing CAN allow sound to resume (hit or miss). Reverting to 5-band seems to negate the issues. It still allows for some additional functionality, but the reason for my seeking an EQ app is because I wanted more than my 5-band standard EQ. Great otherwise. Little to no distortion or artifacts from effects. Spotify, Pixel 6 Pro, Android 14
Does have lots of options and presets for a standard eq and 10 band but I noticed crackling and distortion after I left the app and pocketed my phone. If you're looking to specifically listen to music and nothing else on your phone for that time then it is a good app. If you're looking for a consistent and clear eq that will be running in background then don't waste any more time than you already have reading this 🤦♂️✌️
I've used a lot of equalizers, on apple and android both. but by far this is the best one I've downloaded. So much so I've been using it on every single android device I've owned for the past 3 years now. it's sad they don't have it on iPhone bc I guarantee all the audiophiles with iPhone would have this app. ik I would, and my dad is an audiophile and a musician, and he's told me that he even enjoys this app which is saying something.
Absolutely Outstanding – Brought My Earbuds to Life! 🔥🎧 This app totally transformed my audio! It made my JN-DQTWSS earbuds sound just like my old Soundcore R50i — deep bass, clear vocals, and great surround feel. The 10-band EQ and bass boost work across all apps, including games like COD Mobile and music apps like YouTube and Spotify. Simple, powerful, and better than Poweramp EQ. Highly recommended for anyone who loves great sound! 💯🎶
Love it. Exactly what I was looking for. Something to maximise the sound on my headphones, plus being able to change the sound settings quickly for each song. Very happy with my purchase as it's an affordable app which enhances the listening experience.(For anyone who mentioned that it sounds like a helicopter/popping noise, did you try swiping right into the other settings. That noise can come on if I don't have the volume & settings in harmony. But its really easy to fix too so still five 🌟)
Decent functionality if you buy the full app. Limited otherwise. Has a bad problem multiplying any effects though, so I often have to turn off the app, close it, turn it off again because some instance is still running somehow, then sometimes restart my phone because all the audio is irreversibly fxk'd and hijacked. Also as of November the app has disappeared from my phone unless I search in a menu to find and open it (though I can't uninstall.) Very sus, very weird, but I still use it. 🫠🤷♂️
This equalizer made the low end in music, particularly bass drums, sound distorted. I tried to change the settings in the app and in my phone to no avail. Eventually I got tired of it and reinstalled the free app I was using before. I rather deal with the ads then listen to distorted music. Sucks because the mids and highs sounded great while using this equalizer.
Decent app. The sound enhancements work wonders over the basics preinstalled apps. Has a serious issue tho. More often than not, when the app disconnects from certain BT devices, such as the one I use in my car... When it reconnects, there is an indescribable distortion that takes over. Only way to stop it is to completely close it down. Very irritating.
I'm no expert on EQ and sound settings by no means. However, I do know the basics. And in my opinion, this EQ app is pretty good. There are lots of presets built-in like rock, hip-hop, pop, bass, treble, etc. and it has a good range of adjustable EQ frequencies; either 5 or 10-band EQ. The biggest issue though is occasionally it will badly interfere with the music player app/song and cause the quality of the song to be dramatically reduced. But usually just restarting the App/apps fix that.
