Description
Been using Bear Player for a couple months now. It’s basically a video player app that handles pretty much any video format you throw at it – MP4, MKV, even old school FLV. Pretty solid app if you’re into watching local videos or streaming stuff online.
Here’s what you do: you just select a video file and press play. There’s also some playback controls like adjusting the speed, which is pretty cool. And you can even cast videos to a TV, which is a nifty feature I’ve found myself using a lot.
Look, if you’re into watching videos on your Android, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a little annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on Bear Player. I've tested a bunch of video player apps and this one's one of the better ones I've tried. The format support is great, it's easy to use, and the performance is solid. And definitely better than the default Android video player. Only real downside is the ads, but you can pay to remove them. Overall, a pretty good option if you need a capable video player on your Android device.
