Really wanted this to work. Love the idea of what they're doing and I'll give it another go down the road, but it's far too unreliable right now. I hooked in all my accounts and turned off notifications for all of the native apps. Even though it would say everything was connected, I would sporadically check my native SMS client and realized I'd missed an entire day of texts. That just can't happen. If they stabilize things I'll give it another shot, but not really usable right now IMO.

Great BUT needs some more customizable options. I've noticed you can't change the font size of your texts or the color of the bubbles/backgrounds. Also, a minor nag, but if you search a contact on beeper looking for someone in your contacts in which you haven't texted prior, you have to message them on a the original messaging app (i.e. samsung messages, google messages, etc.) before beeper recognizes the contact in the search bar. It's an amazing app overall though.

This is what I've been waiting for. I use so many different messaging platforms that it gets hard to keep track of who I message where. Beeper allows me to organize everything in one simple lay out. This has made messaging so much simpler for me! Their support is very responsive and clear, which is refreshing. My only wish now is to add support for GroupMe, but I'm sure that's just a matter of time!

I don't normally rate apps, but this is an exception. I was able to get rid of 4 apps and use this app instead. This has really simplified my messaging app clutter. I am able to keep Facebook apps off my phone, too, and still use marketplace since I'll get notifications on items I'm selling through this app. There are a few quirks here and there (like I dont see a way to un-archive stuff), but the convenience is well worth it. This app may not be for everyone, but it really helps me out!

If your use case is to keep tabs on lesser used messaging services, Beeper is fit for purpose. However, coming in from a mainly desktop user, I find the mobile UI for Android to be less than desirable, with no way to delete message history, even if other services Beeper bridges with do have some analouge. There is also the missing feature to easily check messages of a particular platform. Where on desktop, it is a click on the sidebar, on mobile, the option is hidden in the search bar. If you u

I've been on the waitlist for forever, and now that I can finally use the app it looks very promising. Some feedback though: It doesn't seem like all my message history is loading in. Also, I'd love it if the network icons were a bit bigger and had the original colors to distinguish them a bit more, like the rainbow for Instagram and blue for Discord. Not having RCS support natively is an L too, but I think that's because Google keeps the RCS API private. Hopefully there's a workaround.

Good start. Love the idea of combining the different messaging channels. But there is a lot of room for improvement. Particularly around customization. I'd love the ability to choose colors for messages (red for gchat, green for WhatsApp, etc). Generally just being able to distinguish which messages are coming from where. Give me some more options there, and this would be my default message app.

Excellent solution to a complex problem! I really appreciate that Beeper brings messaging from many social media apps to one place. I was incapable of keeping up with all the places I was supposed to message so many friends. Now, I can quickly and easily respond to everyone without opening 7 apps (not exaggerating!). I do keep Signal separate. I use it for privacy, and connecting it to Beeper makes it less secure (that's why 4*). If you need help keeping up with everyone, give Beeper a shot.

Overall really nice app! The keyboard auto closing when I try to scroll up is seriously annoying, I would like to turn that off. I'd love to see a little more customization, like an options to use system font, move search bar to the bottom, per-chat colors like Google Messages. Replies also looks weird for recipients on platforms like Discord, where it will keep replying to the same message until you close the reply box. I'd also love to see silent message support for Discord/Instagram.

The last month or so Beeper has stopped working properly. I often don't get notified for new messages (that I know I got because of the desktop app). They don't show up when I close and reopen the app, or when when I force stop and relaunch. When I send a message, often it will sit there with the "sending pinwheel" but if I check on the desktop app I can see the message was sent, and I'll often get replies to them despite the pinwheel. It's quickly becoming useless to me.
