Very few people on it, you don't get to choose a smaller location, and the app is designed to mimic tinder. Doesn't seem like a good app for finding friends.

On top of it all most of them will insult you if you don't respond back within a few min. And then when you try to report, they only bring up a few messages so you can't even report the right one... Bumble BFF is way better and everyone there is super sweet. Just wish they had more people on there haha
I'll give more than a single star when I don't get pop up ads every time I close a chat box. Also, I know it's an app designed for making friends, not dates, but being minor inclusive is just unsafe and weird. . . because people treat it like a dating app and kids misbehave all the time anyways.
From the outset it's a filthy yank app (month day year? only a nation that simplified the English language because it was too hard to learn in its traditional format, write dates like a special needs student), then the fake profiles all with low resolution photos. Cmon scammers it's 2025, there's no excuse to be this bad.
the textpost section is full of sexual/nudity offers and sales, has minors asking for adults, and is just full of female bots or nude sellers getting upvoted for hunting at buying things. "friend" making app. people are on here for relationships or dating, and if the ones seeking a relationship it's all single moms who want a home owner that lives alone (definitely looking for a free pass at life) with the current state of this app, you should not pay for this, needs more moderation!
when getting those diamonds to all more swipes. had no issues before. now endless adds and swiping off the adds and closing the app and reopening it and still can't get any. the app restricts how many you see when it says (refresh) it's actually restricted you. and clicking local within 100 miles and getting people from Ukraine and Italy. has good potential however not so right now. advert driven
App is basically unusable. It's baffling to me how slow everything is. Chatting is impossible because it takes ages for the words to show up. Nothing happens for almost a minute after pressing send. Swiping is laggier than my laptop from 1999. This is a disgrace, and I paid for this trash. Fix your app.
it's good I have no problems with it except the only part I don't like is that a lot of the people are either from a completely different country or are too far away, I can't find anyone that's actually in the same area as me so maybe add a feature where it allows the app to scan the place you're In and it shows profiles of people in your area
giving this 2 stars bc I honestly do think this is the best social app I've used recently however not being able to swipe right on people without paying is just not it and just makes it almost useless on a base level. I get you want to get paid but at least give a limited amount of free swipes per day etc before needing to upgrade for more otherwise I and everyone else is going somewhere else. other than that a few small glitches here and there but nothing game breaking.
This app is SO LAGGY it's borderline unusable! and I think I know why...STOP PUTTING SO MANY ADVERTS! I understand you need to earn a revenue but you are taking the Mickey at this point! random pop up video ads that load for 30-60 seconds, then press X then another page, and another, AND ANOTHER. banner ads at the bottom of every chat, it's absolutely riddled with adverts. and it's breaking the app!
This app is awful. 95% of the people are either bots or scammers. They always ask the same exact question..."What are you looking for here." Then they ask for your phone number to switch to Whatsapp. That'a where the scam starts. They either just lost their job or just need help until payday. The other one is within a few messages they bring up how well they are doing selling crypto currancy. Then they suggest they can teach you to make money to. All you need to do is buy some and trasfer it.
how is the app not a 1* across the board? location is set to my country, clearly the developers stating to do this cant get the message that the function is NOT working. set max distance to 35 miles. getting multiple profiles from other countries and any profiles in the US are NOT in the state I live. clearly this needs to be fixed.
it's fine. it's an okay app. but it's straight up lying saying you can, "make friends nearby." nearly everyone I can see is not even in the US. you can set the distance to how far away you can find people, but in my experience it never works. It's not like I live in the middle of nowhere either. if you're downloading this app to meet people near you, find something else. otherwise it's mediocre for everything else. edit: the settings do nothing.
Denied 100% of my pictures even though they clearly follow the guidelines. Was able to get through with no picture uploaded to see some profiles. Swipped for about 15 minutes and only saw accounts that looked like bots, and there was not a single female. I checked my settings, and they were correct. Just another app filled with desperate men and bots.
The experience.... Has been better... It was pretty lively a year ago when I joined, but it's been declining ever since. The chat sucks. It sucks hard. I don't know what the development team works on, since they never add new features, but it's broken af. Ads break the keyboard CONSTANTLY. It's ok, tho - you can just switch to another platform. The biggest problem is fake accounts. Scammers. Talk to unverified people with sparse profiles at your own risk.
Great app for meeting people! There are some scammers here and there but relatively it's really low compared to other free sites. The development team responded to my issue quickly. Great set up using the best elements of a lot of other apps to meet people. Only complaint is that sometimes it's rather slow when texting, but there's a built in feature to add people on snap so you can always move there. Super rare to get adds which is always a plus. Definitely puts quality over cost.
App's gone way downhill. Used to be the only one of its kind I found that you could actually match by a number of miles near you. That's now been removed entirely. No more free gems from watching ads because that just doesn't work. I tried it twice today, watched full ads and never received the gems it was supposed to give me. EDIT: Searching by country of location first is even worse because it only ever shows matches from other countries. It has never worked as suggested by the developer.
This app is ok. You can meet some interesting people and have some decent conversations but it's super buggy. For instance, I'm constantly having to close it and open it again because it won't let me type normally. You can send photos as soon as a message opens but then after you type anything, the option disappears. You can't always paste stuff into the chat. Little annoying things like that keep the app from being better.
it's an ok app, there are lots of things that could be better. 1, there are pedophiles on this app, the range for me (17) is 12-22 which is very naïve to assume nothing bad will happen. 2, there is no difference between previous adds and new matches, you can't tell unless you manually check who you added. 3, the prices for premium are questionable. 4, you can set preferences but sometimes it just shows ppl who don't fit them at all, then goes back to normal. 5, it constantly asks for location
App logged me out, and now gives an error message every time I try to sign in. So it's completely unusable. Was very buggy and slow before this anyway, takes forever to load every individual thing you do... it's crashes a lot. Ads slow down the whole app, and if you don't wanna turn notifications on, have fun with the pop up that comes every 5 minutes. Messages randomly don't send, links don't work. Just overall a good idea but horrible execution. Not worth a download.
