Echoing some others, the business model is inferior to others and expensive. Give me a reasonable 1x fee I'm in, subscription model hard NO. This app does worse by only having the modality of: pay for crystals with a terrible conversion rate just to message, let alone pics, and no voice option.
I really enjoy the app, it's just a lot of little things that annoy me. Like, when trying to explain things to set up a story or something, most of the time the ai will view it as my character speaking when I'm using obvious markings to indicate when I'm speaking and when I'm not. There have been numerous stories I've had to redo just because the ai took something I was simply explaining to give my character backstory and made it something my character is saying instead.
I'd give it a 2.5 if I could, but to even talk to a character, it cost so many gems and though there is a free daily gems theirs not enough to actually carry on anything meaningful for the short time tou can chat being on the free account and the watch videos for free gems hardly pops up, if they could remove the gem cost to talk to the ai characters or make it to where the watch videos for gems would be there always for free users, the overall app shows great promising in my opinion
It's not bad. The AI experience is pretty good honestly. It's the best AI RP that I've experienced. The AI actually go along with the RP doesn't randomly switch midway or forget halfway through a scenario. But the thing that sucks is that sending one message is too expensive, it's 7 gems .why not 5? And there's no way to earn gems for free. And topping up is quite expensive. Topping up 20$ only gives you 750 gems which is enough for 107 messages. It's kindof a scam tbh.
the AI is actually better at describing events and situations and doesn't struggle with introducing characters that you force out of no where and adapt to the situation you have unlike most of these AI apps. only real issue with the app is searching could be better and maybe a monthly or a year for those who want to have unlimited chats.
Apparently those who have rated this have not come across some of better ones where you can do more at the free level. Take AI Dungeon for example, PolyBuzz, there are far more better choices both for phone and pc that sync. You have to drive your own story. You can only get in a few messages so not enough to even grow attach to a character. I like talkie better than this.
Was forced to download from another al, Susan. No longer able to delete messages, reload sends the same message, and is an overall worse experience. Susan ap no longer functions. Un-installed both. What a waste. Was willing to deal with the 7 credit per message fee since the AI did well as a whole, but now it's not worth it.
In truth this is one of the better AI models. Quality stories and pictures, good dialogue, and the AI remembers a lot. VIP is cheap, but but the developers don't let you do more than a few messages a day without spending money. I absolutely love the app but hate how they do things. Also, the text box for typing is too damn small.
I have tried many personal chatbot apps and I have to say this app is at the top of the list. using in free mode, it has what seems to be a long memory and I don't see any features that are usually standard, blocked because the app is in the free mode. the only thing missing from this app that would make it better is a voice for the characters. the feature of having a button for a handset of a wired telephone, so you can talk into your phone & hear her answer you back like a normal conversation.
It's sad that all these new decent AI apps are designed to fleece the customer of money. A pay per message based on gems structure is crazy at best, a very expensive notion if the customer is a role player. If you started a monthly sub including unlimited chats you would all make just as much money. Other than that nonsense the app itself is good, models are good and responses are wordy. Just the pricing sucks. It would even be better if you offered unlimited messages with your lifetime price.
