Description
Been using Betaflight VTX Config for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you set up your drone’s video transmitter through your phone or tablet. Pretty solid if you’re into racing drones and stuff.
Here’s what you do: you connect your flight controller to the app via USB and then you can adjust all the settings for your video transmitter. There’s also a really handy feature where you can see the current signal strength and frequency. And the best part is you don’t have to mess with the actual transmitter – it’s way easier to do it through the app.
Look, if you fly racing drones, you’ll probably find this app really useful. It’s not perfect – the UI could be a bit more polished – but overall it gets the job done. Worth checking out if you want an easier way to configure your VTX.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on Betaflight VTX Config. I've tested a bunch of drone apps and this one's pretty good for what it does. The ability to configure your video transmitter from your phone is super convenient, especially since the actual hardware is often tricky to access. The signal strength meter is a nice touch too. But I do wish the interface was a bit more user-friendly - took me a while to figure some things out. Overall though, it's a solid tool if you want an easier way to tweak your drone's VTX settings.
