I have the notification set, but it only ever pops up when I have already opened the app. That doesn't do me much good for remembering to do my reading each day. This issue being fixed would mean five stars.
The verses are always very short. A longer verse would be nice occasionally. Also, I wish there was a brief commentary/discussion attached with each daily verse for help in understanding more difficult verses to get even more out of the reading.
Really love the transparency setting for the widget - it's so pretty! If you could add an option to choose whether to go to the website or open the app when you click the widget, then it'll be perfect!
It's almost perfect. The ONLY problem is that I don't get a notification in the morning when I check my phone until I open the app. Can't you make it so that I get a notif without having to open the app please? Thank you as always. :)
Good overall, except for some time now, the verse doesn't update daily like it used to. My phone is (and has been) updated and settings are correct. Therefore, it's deemed to be an issue with the app itself.
Great app but way too hard to find where to donate using Google Pay, where I have an account. The author told me how to donate via Google Pay, but it's just too hard to find with the authors instructions. My only option to remove ads is to just uninstall the app. I'll give it 4 stars because I don't know how to donate!
I use this app since years and I loved it so much because of the notification. Since I got my new phone (Samsung 10+) I don't get a notification anymore which is very frustrating!! I tried everything, downloaded the app again, checked my phone, I'm so disappointed 😞
This a great app. More customizable than the verse widget on the You version app. I also like that it lets me decrease the size more. Only complaint I have is that the Bible translation I typically use isn't on the app.
I really enjoyed this app in the beginning. Now for some reason the settings are not working, the widget doesn't open, I do have it set for a specific time but I have to manually open the app to read the Bible verse.
It's nice this innovation, sincerely But there should be options for us to set a particular time we want each verses to stay. Whether we want to be learning a verse every three days or weekly will help have more understanding of what we are reading than in a day. Thank you for the app by the way
