Awesome app. I used it to build an electric fireplace from home Depot, which was in all pieces to assemble. It went step by step, along with a voice to guide ya also. Can zoom in and out, pause it in-between steps. Great app. Definitely recommend to anyone.
Reviews for BILT: 3D Instructions
← Back to BILT: 3D InstructionsExtremely easy to use and made building my grill even easier. I am used to using isometric views that are normally in paper assembly instructions and this app made it even easier since I could pan and zoom around the 3D model. Also ability to click on parts to see what parts you were looking for.
Used this on a large dollhouse. Was extremely helpful. I did not have one time where I had to redo a step. Because the app was very clear all along the way. You can rotate the image 360 Degrees to see exactly how the piece should be oriented. And you can zoom in and ask for a call out of the exact Parts you need on every step.
Used it to build a 3 tier bookshelf from Walmart. Pretty easy to use. It had everything to build it (except for a banner but luckily I already had that). I liked the 3D builder ascept and how easy it was to review the steps before and during the process. I am NOT a handy person, so I'd say if I was able to follow along using this, pretty much anyone else would.
great concept poorly executed. when you are done with an install, or no longer need the installation instructions taking up storage on your phone --you can't delete. Assembling a grill, there was 1 step out of about 50 where 3D allowed me to see something that wasn't obvious in the 2D written instructions. overall not enough benefit to keep this bloated app.
Very informative instructions. 3d imaging is great and instructions are very detailed. I rate 3 stars because the mode number of the unit i have is not listed. Even though it states clearly on the box that it can be found on the app. Im left trying to search for the closest model to what i have. Now im left questioning if installation should be the same for my product. Disappointing!
The production quality is quite good. I just assembled a Weber Spirit II E-310 grill. In one situation the ability to zoom and rotate was pretty helpful. I am pretty mechanically inclined, so for the most part printed booklet was more helpful than the app (the ability to look back and forth between an unchanging illustration and the grill I was assembling was better than the zoomable rotateable app), but this is just me. I am guessing for a lot of people this app will be very helpful.
It can definitely make assembly a lot easier with voice and 3D models that you can spin around and zoom to view what you're supposed to be doing. Works extremely well and I didn't struggle at all. The only complaint is The app has no permissions to access local files to upload receipts. You must take a picture of a receipt even if it's stored on your device.
It's OK if you have a product that the list happens to have.
not functional for a common Weber model, many steps do not match instructions. also does not list where parts are. you're better off with the paper instructions.
I shouldn't need to download an app in order to put an item together. Absolutely ridiculous.
Images and text too small. Can't expand window.
4.5 ⭐ Instructions for our playground followed the paper manual exactly. I found it easiest to follow the paper manual to gather all your supplies then switch to the 3D model for putting it together, the ability to turn the model around, zoom in and out, and identify specific parts is very helpful. I only wish there was a way to bypass or speed up the voice command as it very slowly reads off part numbers (ex. H1000086)
Makes these projects a whole lot easier. I was wondering when something like this would finally come around.
This idea is genius! Used it to put a Weber BBQ together, I can honestly say it saved me assembly time and made the whole process easier. I hope all companies use this product! Suggestions to Company: - Include a checklist of all parts and which box they are in. Took me a while to find the screws. - In Receipts and More, include company contact numbers Sales, Support... - Include maintenance/upgrade instructions as a sub category under each product when applicable. Example, how to (when applicable) replace a worn part, add an option to an already assembled product etc.
this app does nothing except for trying to sell you stuff. I go on the app and it's just a shopping application. there's nothing else to it it's useless when you can just use Amazon or any other platform. I don't see a purpose for this app. it's redundant
messed up the product during the installation! a video would be way better instead of graphics. extremely hard to zoom in or turn around.
Would be great, except does not match the product instructions or box letters in the case of the item I am trying to assemble. I nearly contacted the manufacturer to tell them parts were missing, but then I checked the paper instructions and saw that the box letter this app they told me the part was in was not part of the set for my model. I checked to make sure I had looked up the right model, and I did. Update (response to manufacturer): it was a Weber Genesis E-335 Grill.
I've this once or twice before. It's great. Just make sure you're paying attention to the direction that the parts face while assembling anything. It sometimes matters. Used it for a Weber grill and it was helpful
videos suck. The videos reference things but do not show what they are. This app might be a nice in concept but physical instructions are needed. Was trying to install a Chamberlain garage door opener. No paper instructions and their support is useless. Never buying Chamberlain.
