So here's my take on Bimma EWD - Wiring Diagrams. I've tested a bunch of car repair and diagnostic apps, and this one's pretty solid. The level of detail in the wiring diagrams is impressive, and I like that they cover such a wide range of BMW models. It's not the prettiest app, but it's functional and gets the job done. The regular updates are also a nice touch. My only real gripe is that the UI could be a bit more user-friendly, but it's not a dealbreaker. Overall, if you're a BMW owner or tech, this is a pretty useful app to have in your toolbox.

Description

Been using Bimma EWD – Wiring Diagrams for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that’s got all the electrical wiring diagrams and component locations for pretty much every BMW car from 1998 to 2025. Pretty solid app if you’re into working on BMWs or just want a reference when you’re doing repairs.

Here’s what you can do: you can browse through diagrams for different BMW models and years, search for specific components, and even get the location of parts like the ECU and fuse box. There’s also regular updates to make sure the info is always current. And the diagrams themselves are pretty detailed – took me a while to figure some of them out but they’re useful.

Look, if you own a BMW or work on them, you’ll probably find this app really handy. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a little clunky at times – but overall it does the job and it’s worth checking out.
