So here's my take on bimmer-tool Lite. I've tested a bunch of BMW diagnostic apps and this one's pretty solid. The UI is straightforward and the core features like reading codes and live data work really well. And the wireless connectivity is a bit hit or miss, especially on older cars, but the wired connection options make up for that. Not gonna lie, it took me a while to figure out some of the more advanced stuff like DPF regen, but once I got the hang of it, it's been super useful. Overall, I'd say it's one of the better BMW-specific diagnostic apps out there.

Description

Been using bimmer-tool Lite for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you read and clear fault codes, request DPF regeneration, and check engine live data on your BMW. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you can do: There’s a bunch of diagnostic tools like checking for trouble codes and stuff. And it’s got a live data viewer too which is pretty cool. And you can even request a DPF regen right from the app – took me a while to figure that one out but it’s really useful.

Look, if you own a BMW and want a way to diagnose issues yourself, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the wireless connection can be a bit iffy on older cars – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you need a BMW diagnostic tool.

After your last update it does not connect anymore with the car BMW F10,i use a Vgate wifi adaptor..
