Been using the BLM Public Lands Map Guide USA for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that shows you all the public lands managed by the Bureau of Land Management across the western US. Basically, there’s millions of acres of public land that you can explore, hike, camp, and do all sorts of outdoor activities on. This app maps it all out so you can discover new spots near you or plan trips.
The app’s got over 52,000 different points of interest marked – things like trailheads, campgrounds, historic sites, and more. You can browse the map, search for specific areas, and even get turn-by-turn directions to these places. There’s also info on the different regulations and amenities at each location. Pretty handy if you’re an outdoor junkie like me.
Look, if you love exploring nature and the great outdoors, you’ll probably get a lot of use out of this app. It’s not perfect – the data could be more up-to-date and the UI takes some getting used to. But overall it’s a solid tool for discovering the hidden gems of America’s public lands. Worth checking out for sure.
