Confusing and unfriendly app

Terrible layout and interface

I like the app, but today the yellow BLM overlay disappeared and I have been unable to get it back. If you can help me figure out what happened, I would really appreciate it.

Unusable. There's a $1.99 wasted.

Terrible interface, it won't save preferences and is just showing me geological areas.

Incredibly incomplete. I will update my score as the developers update their list. FYI, there is another side of the country called the East Coast.

It would be nice if more road names were visible and known entry points were more defined.

Difficult to use, I'm not a fan. I wish I could get my money back. It's very hard to navigate based off of this app. The search function did not work well either.

Old information from years ago! Not relevant to 2023. A lot of the places listed are either closed down, not allowing people to camp or overnight as listed, or they cost A LOT more now than they did years ago. :(

Fantastic app with great features and tools. Best app I've found to show BLM and USFS Lands along with your location since the Freeroam app quit being offered. Very up to date. Supports your own points along with points of recreation sites, trailheads, camping, offroading, parking, water, restrooms . . . and many more. Has various overlays and map types, geolocation and direct links to specific BLM areas. Thank you for this awesome app !

I have no idea what everybody is bitching about, this is an awesome app. If you can't figure out how to use it, that's your fault because it's pretty simple. The maps are very detailed and the app does exactly what it claims... Best two bucks I spent this week - Well done! 👌

would be great if you had a sliding bar that could change the shadow on the hillshade i have seen this on other maps that way you can see whats in the highlighted areas! your map is fixed, as well, it would be great to be able to pinch zoom spin 360 degrees the map so as to orientate easily with other maps possibly add 3D features to show terain/ slope/ hillshade in 3D maybe real time layers and maybe private property boundries? please consider at least the hillshade slider to adjust shadows!!

I just purchased this app and when I click on an icon, I'm unable to read the whole thing because the right edge is cut off. There's no scroll or punch feature to complete. Frustrating. I hope you guys can and will fix that. (I'm on a Samsung Galaxy S21.)

This is exactly what I need. It has the BLM public land highlights from the map on their website but it's actually usable because you can opt in to show road layers and other features, including GPS marker. The interface isn't "pretty", but I did find it usable and feature rich and if you take camping seriously it is worth it. the main menu buttons at the bottom are a bit small on my phone. Layers are also categorized "GIS" style which could seem more advanced to some people.

Paid for the app and it worked once. The overlay showing blm land doesn't work or show at all anymore. I cleared cache, storage, uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted my phone. Doesn't work. If it worked it would serve it's purpose and get five stars. Edit: Per developers comment the issue is not his fault. I double check the BLM website and the layers don't work there. Since the app is flawless and did work for a minute I'll rate it 5 stars. Sorry for the confusion.

Definitely worth the purchase! For whatever reason, the map layers weren't working correctly when I initially installed this app. I got a refund and wrote to the developer. They sent a screenshot of what it should look like. I tried reinstalling again today and all layers show up correctly. I'm glad I gave this a second chance and appreciate a developer who cares about their work (and customers). Thank you.

Update...special points added. Able to edit, add notes and remove special points. Updated stars. It's ok. It would be better if I could make or add notes on the map or "pin" an area of interest. The legend could be updated also. For example, what is a red dashed line on the map? Beats me, could be a hiking trail or an ohv trail. I have no idea.
