I give up. yet another app full of junk that doesn't tell you how to use the app to check your blood pressure.I will simply find a drug store that has the dollar machine to check. These apps are so useless, waste of space, memory, battery, data.I just wanted a simple app that checks your blood pressure using your finger on the phone. Good luck. Every other garbage on this app except simple instructions how to use the app. Uninstalling.
Reviews for Blood Pressure App – SmartBP
After realising that my BP was rising, I installed this app (recommended by a colleague) and am overall very pleased with it. Simple layout, easy to use and understand. The ability to print out reports to present to my GP is a great feature. I have removed one star because the printer icon does not print from my wireless printer although all my other apps can do so. When this is fixed I will adjust my rating accordingly
Like it so far, paid for upgrade, still have ads and keep getting messages to upgrade. Help. with the newst update, things like clicking to make your page slighty larger on the insights page minimizes program and when you click it to open again it diverts to making a nre entry. i would uninstall and reinstall, but i have a years worth oh info i don't want to lose. plus getting screen briefly says i have't paid yet. help plrase, i need these records.
Very frustrated right now. I have this app on my Pixel phone and I also have it on my iPad. I sync data to the cloud on a regular basis. Three days ago I ran into a problem, a JavaScript error that won't let the android version of the app sync to the cloud. I emailed support multiple times but gave not received a response
I'm a paid subscriber. I want to like this more because the interface is nice, and record keeping is good. However, it doesn't sync well with other health services or even my own devices, and using the password is a tremendous pain. I keep getting wrong password notifications even after I've reset the password (I also use a password manager, so I know I'm entering the correct credentials. On to the next one.
Tried syncing with Fit (only reason I'm trying this app) and I got a warning saying the developer hasn't been verified by Google. Unacceptable risk here. I didn't get a chance to play with it much to verify what's free sync-wise and what isn't, and it wasn't obvious in the menu/etc which features do and do not work without a subscription.
Would love to see all measurements on one chart. While weight is tracked & charted, it could be highlighted when target is met. Irritating BUG. After tapping past 12 months x 50 years, the app did not save my entry. Impossible to enter birthdate: month, day, year. I like the stats that tell percentage of time spend at each level, i.e. 25% pre-hypertension, and 75% normal. Good info on Limits. And you can change those limits to fit your health need.
Nice interface but buggy. I still see ads occasionally, even though I've upgraded to the ad free version (need to restart the app to clear them). The profile is difficult to set up because you can't enter a birth date -- you have to swipe backwards through the calendar, starting from today. I'm 51, which means 612 swipes. No thanks. The csv exported data includes units rather than raw numbers, which makes it impossible to do any data analysis with Excel without a lot of manual editing.
There are so many inconveniences to this app that I find it to be useless. I can find no way to add my birth date without scrolling month by month over almost 60 years. The setting to sync with devices only takes you to a website where you can buy devices. Don't bother with this app, there are many that are more functional.
This is my rating after having the app for just a few days. You use your own blood pressure and pulse monitoring device then record the results in the app. The app saves the results and creates charts and graphs using various colors so that you can visually see which category your blood pressure falls into (low, normal, pre-hyperension, stage 1 hypertension, and stage 2 hypertension). It also uses your results to determine your pulse pressure, mean arterial pressure, and the body mass index.
