I've used this app daily for two years now and am very glad that I have. It has helped me lower my blood pressure and weight by being more aware of them. Finally paid, not so much to get rid of the irritating ads as to give credit where it is due. Early on, I found a way around the annoying ads which appear when you save a reading using the New Entry button. Otherwise I might have looked for another app. Use the History button instead and choose today's date. No ads!
Reviews for Blood Pressure Log - MyDiary
← Back to Blood Pressure Log - MyDiaryAs a busy 25+yro who has multiple CHDs, i absolutely LOVE this app! It's so Convenient! i have small, portable BP cuff and Pulsoxcimiter, i can take down the results right at my desk and have them readily available to show my Dr on my appointments! i have tried so many other apps for this service and ended up going back to writing it down in a note book. but once i found out about this, I'll never go back to the note book version!
Great experience with this app, it's very straight forward, no cartoonish graphics, and so cery easy to use, love the easy input for the numbers, and this app sums up a fantastic array of shareable stats! The ability to create data categories and logs was an awesome thought! it's easy to make self customizing quick input; and the comments section can be used, well..like a diary! Detailing pertinent events such as when you jogged, walked, exercised, what you are, etc! Worth paying for? Yes!
I do have a negative point to bring up. The app has a place to add your oxygen level. But it doesn't show up anywhere. So what's the point of entering it, or even have a place on this app for it??? I have sent messages to the developer to see if I am missing a report button. No response, just silence. So if you want a oxygen level average. Find a different app.
Great app for keeping track of vitals; way better than using the memory function on my monitoring devices because it keeps everything in one place. I can even easily send results to my doctor! Update: All the text in the App disappeared and I couldn't find support. However, I resolved the issue by switching to the "Default" theme setting.
Great app. I show it to all my health care professionals. It is easy to use. I use it to track more than my BP. I use it to track, Blood Sugar, Weight, Blood Oxygen. Since I now have a new thermometer I track my temp, just because. If I have a complaint it is that I can't graph any of the other vitals. Sometimes it would be easier to follow one set
Been looking for something like this for years. So many health app trackers do not give a clear easy way to also track blood pressure. This also lets me easily create custom tags, divided into as many as six custom categories, so I can get a better idea of what is effecting my BP. And I can keep track of my husband's BP in the same app and same log-in. I love the bare bones user interface. In a world of fancy marketing and graphics, it's a relief to finally find a functional simple app!
Great for keeping a log of BP (and pulse) and graphing the data. I use app to record weight as well, but wish that weight could be graphed too. An ad only pops up after completing first entry, not after subsequent entries, so not too annoying. The names of the BP categories are out of date (at least in the version I'm using) but that doesn't impact the usefulness of the app.
I have been using the app for 8 month' since I had a stroke. At first my memory wasn't good. I would weight myself and go right to the App to enter it. Sounds easy right. Not so much when the weight and blood pressure entry look the same. At times I had to weight myself again to re enter the number. I like how you can go into the history and correct any mistakes.
This is a great tool for recording daily blood pressure readings and much more. It also has fields for entering weight, blood sugar, blood oxygen. Then add personalized comments as well as predetermined default annotations that you can select with one click - and some are even customizable so you can tailor data you are tracking to specific personal needs. You can export in multiple formats for a range of dates you determine so you can share the report with your healthcare provider. Love it ❤️.
I highly recommend this app. Playing with it to find out just how much it can do is like a puzzle, but worth it. My Doctor was also impressed when I sent him my data. The ads aren't bad, I went ad-less after seeing how well it was received by my Doctor and to support the developer. Thanks. Update 21NOV2019 I wish there was a (easy) way to transfer the data to a new phone! I haven't found a way to use the import/export option to do this. Please add customizable Fields In Entry Editor! Thanks
Simple and amazing! So quick easy to enter data and it has a spot for all information your MD may want. You can customize it to your needs. When needed, you can generate a report to print or email to your doctor. Several options that include graphs if you want. You have ads that pop up when saving data but have the option to purchase an opt out. I don't find them annoying.
Great app! I'm updating my review based on user error. I was trying to express the data to share with my doctor. I tried exporting the data via the tools menu and that didn't go well. When I used the Email option the graphs were beautiful. I've used apps that recorded some of the data but not all this app does - and now sharing the data in beautiful graphs (and other formats) is awesome. I really like this app.
I have been using the paid app for over a year. I love it as i can not only monitor my vitals but i can generate great looking reports for my doctor to view. A few suggestions fir improvement: (1) input for device use, (2) a calibration field to automatically record a more accurate measurement - my machine is off by about 10 compared to doctor's. keep up the good work.
Wonderful app!!! Has been very helpful for me in keeping track of my blood pressure. It can also be used to track other health stats, like weight and blood sugar. I have also used it to keep a lot of my migraines, by taking my BP and making a note in the comment section. Can create your own tags for quick, frequently used notes, allowing for further customization. You can even set a reminder alarm, which I've found very helpful. Super useful and pretty easy to learn, I'd recommend it to anyone!!
I really like this app. I can input my numbers quickly, save and close. I really like that I can share the info with my doctor without having to handwrite everything down separately like I used to. Saves time and is legible by the time she sees it. You can keep it as simple as you want with the your systolic and diastolic it add other options such as time of day, sitting or standing, etc. It's helped me with figuring out stresses complication my BP.
It gives you plenty of options to log...if your experience is anything like mine, you'll quickly cut down to just the basics. The reason why is it takes too much time to gather the information. I was tracking BP, pulse, which arm was being used, amount and type of insulin used, temperature and O² saturation, and anything else that looked useful. I'd end up needing 15 minutes to gather the info before a meal! This is good stuff!
Easy to use. Great history data tracking, and great history reports that can be emailed directly to your doctor, by any date range. Time saving "type-ahead" feature that remembers your most used words and phrases and enables you to select those words for comments, etc., making it quick and easy to add comments, and such... Overall a really great app that actually works great (like a real application) and is very easy to use! WELL DONE GUYS!!!!!
Best app I've seen for home health monitoring. Besides storing, graphing, and reporting BP and HR at medical grade for your doctor's review it supports logging with some graphing and reports for other parameters as O2, temp, weight, glucose, missed meds, irregular heartbeats, and comments. Data entry is easy, intuitive and supports full editing to correct mistakes or add details later. Nothing I've reviewed including apps with Bluetooth for big names equipment compares. Never crashed bug free.
Easy interface, allows for additional information such as blood glucose levels, weight, temp, and more to be added as needed to your daily logs. Can set up multiple user profiles, ability to export log to multiple formats for e-mail. *** Has area for adding medication information and exercise. But for some reason they can not be overwritten from "Example 1" or "Example 2"***
