This app seems like a wonderful little plant app, especially if you have 5 plants or less that you would like to keep track of or have reminders for. However, if you have more than 5 plants, like I do, there is a paywall to unlock the feature to keep track of more than 5 plants. I unfortunately do not have the kind of funds right now, but this app is cute, easy to use, and informational.

Update 7/24: still love this app, but it's been freezing SO often. Nearly every time I edit a plant and sometimes just on loading it up I have to force-kill it. Also I find that the amount of water suggested for larger containers is often absurd, like a gallon for a 12" pot. Original review: Super useful, my plants have never been happier! I only wish their photo library was more extensive for identifying plants, and that there was a way to reset plant image once you'd set it.

So far I like the app. I don't really have a use for the reminders just yet (most of my flowers have just sprouted). The notes section has been useful for jotting down when they sprouted and when they've been fertilized. Unfortunately, it seems I mostly picked flowers that are not in the database. Of the 12 I'm growing, only 4 are in the database. Would be nice if there was a request page or even a way to add custom plants so I can still write my notes.

The whole point of me purchasing the premium version, was so I could be reminded when to care/water my different plants. Why am I paying for something that is not working?! I don't get notifications anymore. When I go into the app it says I need to water everything again even tho I marked that I completed it a few days ago. To answer the Support Team, no I do not have any battery saving or anti-virus installed. It's been months, unsubscribed and uninstalled for good now..

It's a lovely app I just need for my new planting adventure. The plant identifying option doesn't really work, in my honest opinion. I tried to identify an artichoke, and something else popped up. So I wouldn't really put my faith in that function. In addition, I wish new species can be added to the app, for example, rose lilies and other flower variations. Another good idea would be the option to select if we are starting seeds in a seed starter tray, etc.

This app is so buggy, I'm growing to hate it. Randomly, some of my plants doubled. When I delete the extras, they show up again. Also, there should be more ability to customize when they're watered/fertilized and manipulating the slide to make the pot is absolutely RIDICULOUS. It's horrible, I can never get it just right...exactly WHAT would be so hard about writing in the pot size? Definitely will not be renewing my subscription and looking for a better plant app.

I used to recommend this app to everyone but within the last few months I've been having so many problems with it crashing constantly it's becoming time consuming to use it. I've also been having to manually search for plants since the identifier is not recognizing them. I saw that the price was increasing significantly and with the issues I have been having with it I will not be renewing for another year.

Eta: 4/2/2024- I really loved this app, and found it super helpful for keeping all of my plants watered. Unfortunately, there was some update that caused all of the plants to refuse to sync from one phone to another. I had more than 40 plants listed, and now that I've upgraded my phone, apparently I have to add all of them back in again? Also, frustrating is when I had to use my backup iPhone for a week, I was unable to log into the blossom app, despite the fact that I sign in using Gmail.

Very nice care plans & tons of info, but needs enhancements. I prefer my reminders to be set at 10am. The default is 8am and there's no way to change that, except by editing the time for EACH plant. However, the setting sticks only sometimes. Other times it will not save no matter what I do! I'd also always like to see the # of days to water and how much, but don't want the reminder (I check all my plants each morning). But if I delete the reminder it also erases the days/qty info!

I like it so far! I only started a week or 2 ago, but I found that not only are there easy to read articles covering general beginner stuff like repotting, watering, etc. there's also care instructions for your specific plants. I don't think 25 bucks a year is too much if you enjoy your plants as much as I do and want to take care of them as best as you can! However, this app is really only good for houseplants. It would be perfect if it did more to help me with my flower beds too!
