Reviews for Blue Mountain Ecards

This app doesn't work properly for many cards, just the same way their website doesn't work well. When you go from previewing a card to personalizing it, especially with a card where the character speaks what you type, it loses your info and you have to start again and again. The cards are great, but this problem has happened for years and they don't fix it.

I am disabled and can't get to the store to buy cards. This app allows me to send beautiful, personalized cards to my loved ones at a reasonable price.

When life is busy, with long to-do lists... remembering friends and family with e-cards is fast and easy. Love this app.

Why no one-off purchase option?! I'd have paid £3 for one card, but don't need it nearly enough to justify the monthly or annual cost.

Don't subscribe through Google Play unless you never, ever plan on cancelling. I tried to restart my subscription to send a card. Should've learned my lesson last time when it freaked out for a while. When you cancel through the play store? It sets your membership to expire some time in 1969 as a way to cut off your access. The NEAT part is when you reactivate your subscription, THEY TAKE THEIR TIME FIXING THAT, IF THEY WILL AT ALL. Restoring purchases SAYS it works but it doesn't. Don't bother

Love this site, nothing but problems with the app. First time you download it and open it, you can log in and use it perfectly. Once you close it, "Access Denied" will pop up every time you load it up. Have tried to force stop the app, same issue. Restarted the phone, same issue. Only solution is to delete and redo the whole process again. Yes, I have a subscribed account, and the website alone works fine, but why have an app if I run into these problems? Frustrating

NO REFUNDS. This is NOT a useful app and be aware they will NOT refund your money when you find that out. You must buy the app to do almost anything with it. The app is designed for email use (who still uses that?), not texting. And you cannot schedule eCards except with email. Really clunky and not useful

The cards that actually work are great BUT ALOT of the cards aren't working & your unable to send alot of the "talking" or personalized holiday cards. When you click on them, they just keep "spinning" the blue hexagon icon & don't load for preview and unable to share them. Alot of the talking animal ones aren't working. Please fix!! Its so frustrating. I probably won't be paying for this service again if they don't fix this asap.

Purchased a subscription. Very disappointed that Blue Mountain advertisement is automatically sent with the e-card basically taking up half of the page. Not what I was expecting and have only sent e-cards to myself to confirm advertisement is always on any sent e-cards. If I am paying for subscription I don't expect the recipient to see the company's advertisement. I could understand if it was a free card. Now to try to figure out if I can cancel and get my annual subscription free back.

Great cards, fantastic variety of greeting cards, categories and options to personalize BUT they don't tell you until after you've spent the time creating a card that you're required to pay to send it. You're required to purchase a membership and in comparison to other ecard apps, the cost options are kind of expensive. This was my only reason for rating at 3 stars.

Great app for miscellaneous occasions, but they "rope you in" to a subscription. It's very difficult to unsubscribe. It's definitely not worth the trouble to deal with this app and trying to figure out how to cancel. Plus...there's NO customer support! You might as well go buy a card and mail it...it's worth any trouble it may be and it's way more personal. If this app didn't automatically subscribe and renew...I'd give it one or two more stars. Go pick out and send your own card, in my opinion.

Stumbled upon this app by accident, while looking for a free birthday card for a close friend, and decided to do the trial, because it looked so cute! Well, it is super cute, and cool.... tons of cards to choose from for many occasions, so there's something for everyone, plus you can customize the cards in really neat ways! I definitely recommend this app to anyone looking for pretty, fun, nicely made, greeting cards...I think it was a two week free trial, so why not check it out! 😃

Blue Mountain eCards have a nice array of topics and designs to express any feeling or thought. You also know when it will be sent and when it's received. Some cards allow for name input - usually from a list. Lists don't always have quite the spelling or even name one wants. It would be nicer if this could be done for all such cards. Bottom line - It's got enough features to keep me happy and is a super convenient way to get my message out.

The cards, especially the smash ups, are very creative and fun to send. That's why the 3 stars. However, a significant problem with this app is that it does not take into account slightly unusual names or unusual spellings for more common names! And since you can't personalize by typing in a name the way it's spelled - you can only pick from a scrolling list - you can't send a birthday card to anyone with a name that isn't on their list. A very big drawback!!

I wish I had checked out the sites full card selection instead of judging them by their single good cookie monster card, and purchasing 2 years of service. Because outside of the Cookie Monster card (singular), the others are awful. The voice selections all sound super robotic and monotone and it's 2023 so there are much better voice options for them to offer us but they don't. Also, they don't offer a way to type in names they don't have listed on personalization. I want my money back

It was fun to be able to send a birthday card to my sister and it was easy to do. However you only got five free cards and then you have to pay. I wish it would have the option to watch videos to earn cards. I was having difficulties with the second card and three more remain. I was unable to send it. The one card was wonderful and I like the ones that you can add your own photo to. Edit: I change my rating from 3 stars to 5 because I love to receive them! These are really really enjoyable!

Blue Mountain Cards is a big find for me! I've always loved cards and try to acknowledge life events but the price of cards and postage along with the time it takes to shop from them is moving card sending from "fun" to "inconvenient". Not only does Blue Mountain make card sending fun again, they also have a huge collection which they add to continuously (ie, you have choices and don't end up sending the same card multiple times).

First of all, found a great card and personalized it. When I got ready to send it, could not log in or create a new account. So I downloaded the app, which won't load the preview at all. But here's the reason for this rating, you advertise that you have free ecards, but as soon as I start signing up, you're asking me to pay for a subscription straight away before I do anything. False advertising! I'll be uninstalling your app now.

I found it much harder to navigate the app than on the website, so I uninstalled it. With the app, the view wouldn't zoom out so that I could see what I normally see. There was also a window wouldn't get out my way. I've used Blue Mountain cards for several years without problems, so I'll just continue using the website, which works well.

Nice service, for those of us who prefer e-cards to physical cards. The Smash-Ups with celebrities are great as an option. Overall there are 1-3 new cards a year since mid-2000s. Name variety is more extensive, which is helpful if you can type in rather than scroll through 1000. The app is handy but can be tricky - don't move off-screen or your message will be deleted. If you have 2 recipients, add more and you'll have 3 and it won't delete the 3rd. It could have more quality variety.
