👎Just spent a lot of money on this product, and so far, very disappointed. The app has already crashed multiple times. Literally every time I try to reorder the sensors, it crashes. Thus, I cannot reorder them. To make matters worse, when I'm viewing live data & turn my phone to landscape mode, the BlueDriver app always hides the live data and instead shows the menu. This makes it impossible to view the live data graphs in landscape mode. It's a low quality product for a premium price tag. 👎

Ive used this product for a few years and loved it. I used to recommend it to others. not anymore. now it requires you to create an account to use the product. they could have made account creation optional for those who wanted a backup feature. I do not want my VIN number on all my vehicles and everything about my vehicle "backed up" for this companies use. big red flag. strongly recommend people avoid this product. Edit: once you get my data, you can change your "rules" in the future!! bad

This was a decent app until recently. Now, it requires an account and won't work at all unless you have one. They claim it's for a better user experience, but it doesn't provide anything that is a benefit to me. If it were truly beneficial, it could be optional and users would have willingly signed up. But it's yet another data grab. Also, I paid up for the hardware that goes with this app and it's now useless due to this change. Some would call that fraud.

I've been using the app for years, now it won't launch without creating an account. I don't see any technical reason they "need" an account, so the "need" is just something they made up - almost certainly data mining and for sending out junk emails. I just got a second scanner for free and I thought "why do I need two? I'll probably never use it." Looks like I'll be throwing this one out and using it after all. (Actually, I'll probably sell it for cheap - at least take away one sale.)

i really liked this device and the features until they required a log in and an email so they could collect all of the data. Some things don't work as well and there is less information. i was just about to purchase another but i will try others now. note: these devices only give symptoms instead of actual problems. example: "misfire code" but a dozen problems could cause a misfire code.

all of a sudden, you can't use the scan tool until you register!?? And when you try to register, you can't because you're not sending the registration code to log in! I need this tool now for some troubleshooting. This is absolutely frustrating! I'll be throwing this tool away and getting another brand. I dont want you collecting my personal info. The sharing of data/troubleshooting was already happening without the registration.

I've been a long time user of Bluedriver and have loved it. Especially its ease of use, because of that it was an easy recommendation. This new update however ruins that. You now need to create an account to use the product you spent $100... annoying, but sure okay. The problem is every time I try to create an account it errors out and says "Account Creation Failed" with no other details.

doesn't work out in the middle of nowhere. need to set up an online account to connect to a local bluetooth device that the phone is able to see. if you want to deploy multiple devices in the field, you can't. you have to sign each one in beforehand, and even then, it doesn't solve the issue completely. They randomly sprung this update on everybody with no warning and, in my case, remotely obsoleted these devices. Another case of otherwise good devices being ruined by data collection fevor.

Was very, very happy with it, then this new app requires a log in. I tried to set up a log in and it does not allow me to. When I select with an eMail, can fill out most of the requirements, till I get to what I assume is the bottom. I can barely see the area of the password on my screen and when I meet the password requirements, I cannot scroll down more to presumably register. What a waste of reputation. To go from something you would recommend to something useles in one update.

I have been happy with this app and device. It covers more than my standalone scanner. It used to be you could use it without an account, but now you are forced to use one. An account does confer advantages but I personally dislike having to keep track of passwords for absolutely everything anymore, but I also don't like Google or Amazon watching everything I do. As with many things, I wish you could choose to just use the device without having to be online, login, etc. But the app is great!
