DON'T TRUST THIS APP. It shows you a random transcription like /beɪŋk/ for "bank" and the support says "it's correct and the most common pronunciation in English". So if you want to learn illiterate (as in dictionaries this is considered a mistake and a deviation of some dialects) language to be the first guy on a village, let's go!
you'll probably learn sounds if you're a beginner. if you are advanced, well, their so-called tailored plan is just a regular plan 1 fits it all. practicing your own sentences in this tool is a joke.

The app helps fix some apparent issues with your pronunciation. However, do not expect a miracle if your English is already at an advanced level.
Best app for mastering phonetics I as a non-native dont have many sounds that english has. this app helped me distinguish those sounds and pronounce them correctly. I wish it had more to english sentence rhythm.

The recently updated version doesn't automatically stop recording after capturing my voice. That's really inconvenient. Please fix it.
Developers, please do something about that popup when you fail a word 5 times, because it's very annoying. Disabling/enabling "Save to Bookmarks When Coach Recommends It" doesn't affect this popup. I only practice individual words. I don't use "the main course". I don't care about words I already say with proper accent. I care about words I can't say properly, and I need much more than 5 "attempts" for such words. I need to play with sounds a lot, intentionally pronouncing incorrect sounds.
This app has also helped me to improve my listening, and now, I'm more aware of why people have trouble understanding me when saying some words, with specific sounds that, because they don't exist in my native language, I've struggled to identify, and of course, to pronounce.
