Okay, so I’ve been using Bolt for Tesla – Tasker Plugin for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you control your Tesla Model S, X, 3, or Cybertruck with Tasker, Automate, or MacroDroid. Pretty cool stuff.
Here’s what you do: You can set up all kinds of automations – like unlocking your doors with an NFC tag, turning on the AC when it’s hot, or even enabling keyless driving when someone texts you a special code. And the possibilities are pretty endless.
Look, if you’re into customizing your Tesla experience and automating little things, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the recent subscription change is kind of annoying – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want more control over your Tesla.

So here's my take on Bolt for Tesla - Tasker Plugin. I've tested a bunch of Tesla automation apps and this one's pretty solid. The flexibility to control almost every aspect of your Tesla through Tasker is awesome. It's not as polished as Tesla's own app, but it's way more powerful. Only downside is the new subscription model, but it's still worth it if you're a Tesla power user.

Other dev who thinks he can start a monthly subscription after charging for the app to install. Waste of money. Better invest in home assist and raspberrypi instead of paying...
Won't connect. Receive error , "Unexpected Response from Tesla." I'm using oAuth and refresh tokens. I've contacted developer but no response yet. Will revise review when it can connect.
