I've had nothing but good thing about using this app the interface is easy and it's a great way to read your promos and who doesn't like free books ...
While the application runs smoother than any other e-reading app I've tried, I'd like to suggest some of the features the other apps have that this one doesn't seem to. Highlighting and annotations/notes: really helpful for reviewers. Proper page count: I'd like to see how many pages into a book I'm reading with a page count of the overall novel. Otherwise, no issues so far.
I usually got my audio books from the library. Most times the books I want I have to wait weeks for. the authors on Book Funnel are new; I really like them. I like helping authors instead of the middleman. I like that you can read one book after the other.
great app. able to just easily log in and read. only problem is certain lines in the book go off the screen and there is no setting adjustment to fix the issue so. turning the screen sideways allows me to view the entirety of each line but limits me to roughly a paragraph at a time to be seen. I don't think I need to express how horrible it is to try to read and understand something when you only see a portion at a time.
I love... but glitches... I love buying audiobooks from authors instead of Amazon or something... but it glitches often and loses my place or shuts down for no reason... I keep hoping for an update or more consistent listening. but some of my favorite books from authors I love are here, so I am keeping my bookfunnel app.
4 days, several tries in app and on computer, and an email to help, still haven't received a password/validation email to create an account and access the books I bought through Facebook (yes I checked the spam folder too. Nothing there either). This app sucks. I guess I have to go to the authors of the books I purchased days ago and request refunds which I probably won't be able to get because they're digital. So about $50 wasted to learn this app is garbage.
The program works great. The greatest thing since sliced bread! I cannot tell you how many GREAT books I have been given for free by authors. It allows you to read many different genres of books to see if you like them. It let's you try early books of authors and realize that you want to read every thing they every write, great program!!!!!
I only downloaded this app because it was the only way to get the audiobook of an author i enjoy. And I would never use it again if I had another option this app fails on every possible level it has flaws that I did not even realize were possible until I experienced them on here. Audio books do not play correctly the app refuses to close progress is not saved there are so many problems I literally do not have enough characters to outline them. App has bugs I did not know what possible.
Reading in this app and changing page appearance no problem. Problem, having to reset every time you open your book. Example: I prefer to read with a black background and white lettering. I have to reset these preferences every time I open the book. Can you highlight favorite passages or take notes? No If you open the book in a different app then those functions are available through that app. My one wish is that when you open the app it would open to the library instead of enter code page.
Used to be great, now not so much! This used to be a seamless app that worked in conjunction with email and other apps. Just use the link, go back to what you were doing. Since the latest update, I can't even close it without closing everything else. The back button doesn't work it just sits there. And I have to instruct it to put my book in my kindle, instead of it automatically doing it as it used to. Crazy! Please go back to previous version! It was awesome, and I'll give it 5 stars again!!
