Reviews for Bose QC Earbuds

Robert Munro

This app doesn't have any way to turn off the touch controls. There is a screen shot in the app description but the touch controls config screen is gone. Really annoying as I've paid 200 for some qc ultras and I just want to turn touch controls off completely but there is no way to do it. The touch controls just get I the way and change the track if I accidentally tap it while brushing hair, etc And forget about using them with a helmet while you're snowboarding. Everything just goes haywire....

First of all: Negative feedback -> email. Positive feedback -> review in the store... Nice one guys. Then I could not find a way to turn off "wearing detection", which makes the earbuds completely unusable. If you're just not able to correctly implement a feature, at least give is the possibility to opt out......

Flagging this as a 1-star rating specifically for a major missing feature. For whatever reason, the option to turn off in-ear detection is missing, which means every time I remove an earbud, the music stops until the sensor detects me returning the earbud to my ear, or until the sensor detects something like my pocket or fingertip. This seems to be a feature included in the main Bose app, just not for the 2024 QC earbuds, in which case the main Bose app redirects the user to this app instead.

Bose QCE headphones were simple, fast, and seamless, integrating with the Samsung S23+. Bose provides 3 easy steps to connect to a phone. The process was completed while speaking on the phone. It was that easy. The app works perfectly, and the voice controls for the headphones are amazing. The headphones fit comfortably and securely. The Bose QCE have out preformed 3 other highly recognized name brands in ease of connection, fit, and navigating numberous functions.

The sound quality is great and the noise cancelling is enough to allow you to hear whatever you're playing in even some of the loudest areas. Just has issues with connection. Sound cuts off when tapping the earbuds to change a song, occasionally just loses connection to the phone, and has moments where you put both earbuds in and one just won't connect forcing you to put both back in the charger and try again. This is on a Google Pixel 8 Pro

I just want to turn off touch gestures. The earbuds are great, but everytime I workout, my hair will pause my music, change the volume, or skip songs. I saw a post stating this app would let you turn off touch gestures, but when I try to connect my earbuds, it just opens the main Bose app. frustrating

Very comfortable buds, but not very quiet, and not because of the ANC. No, the problem is... "BATTERY LOW!" "DISCONNECTED!!" Yes, the very shouty voice prompts. Apparently, this used to be an issue with the QC Ultra back when it was released, so I'm hoping for an update. Please, please add a 'disable voice prompts' option. Also, it'd be nice if the earbuds didn't change anc mode whenever I switch to single-bud mode, but that's a minor gripe

It finds the available devices but will not let me select them! Completely useless! These headphones are so annoying because every time I accidentally touch them (which happens a lot as one keeps falling out of my ear) they open up Spotify and start playing a song, even when I'm in the middle of listening to something else. Grrrr! I was hoping this app would help me change their settings, but nope!

useless app, it finds my product (QuietComfort Earbuds II) but has no option to select, so can not proceed to do anything, these headphones just drops connection on the Bluetooth too often, and the only way is to completely factory reset the headphones, and forgets them on the phone so doing a fresh connection from the start, this would kind of okay if it's just once a year, but happens every week is too annoying, no more Bose products after these headphones are replaced with something else

I received my new earbuds today, and they are great; good job, Bose! The application is excellent for setting everything up and is relatively straightforward, with a clean and intuitive design. I was however a little confused about finding the advanced/custom EQ settings section and I think that section is not clear, maybe put an arrow on the EQ section to indicate that there are more selections if you scroll to the right, just a suggestion.
