Almost-perfect app, reliable service, and reasonable pricing. Bouncie has been working flawlessly for me since day one!
Reviews for Bouncie
← Back to BouncieI use Bouncie at work for fleet management. Customer service is ALWAYS available and responsive through the chat. On the rare occasion a device has stopped working, they have overnighted me a replacement. It is invaluable to get instantaneous notification for impacts and engine faults, and their pricing destroys Geotab and other similar services. Get Bouncie.
Love my Bouncie. Shows me where my car has been, and is at this moment. Also, love how it shows me engine codes and mileage. I think it's well worth the cost including the little subscription fee. Thank you!
Used to work great, it started having delayed communications about 2 updates ago and location has not been as accurate either.
not accurate at all, in fact my car is parked 30 Miles away from is current map location. lol that's kinda a joke after farther diving it seems to be getting more accurate. we'll see.
Let's just say it does exactly what it says it does,,, My daughter was some place she wasn't supposed to be and this app got me within 1 ftof my car's location.. She didn't even know we were there... Excellent excellent product.... The only thing that I have found wrong with it is that it is sometimes slow Showing driving in progress or exact location of course that could be a signal issue to...
Not a bad app, just missing some info I'd find helpful, something like an "at a glance" dashboard with actual battery voltage displayed, fuel level, whether the vehicle is running or not, how long its been running if it is, etc. Has the potential for a lot of useful info but its organized in such a weird way or hidden in the app ("battery low" thats great but what is the actual voltage?) that its not really useful for me.
I love Bouncie! I have recommended it to several people. Customer service is also great . No phone call, just a little chat. I tried 2 other tracking devices before settling with bouncie. They pale in comparison. Easy to understand. It shows how much fuel the car has & battery level, (which helped me recently) and you can see how fast or slow the vehicle was moving in a specific location. it has many great features. would love update intervals to be at least every 30 seconds. Had @ least 6 mos
great for info on how fast the driver is going, if they are breaking hard, and where they are located. it even notified me when the battery suddenly was low (the headlights were left on. it was a quick fix that saved the driver from being stranded or needing to be jump started.) I love this device! it is a must have if you have a new driver or if you want the extra help notifying you of potential car problems.
By far, it is the best tracking device I have used. The functionality is smooth. Setup is very easy. The customer service team is understanding and easy to work with. Overall, this device gives me the biggest piece of mind. Notifies me immediately with arrivals and departures. And even when my kiddo hit a nasty pot hole and had a flat tire, the app notified me that something was wrong and she needed help.
I spent months investigating the various GPS products that are available and luckily i found this one. Very easy to setup, very good support, it's able to do everything that i need it to do, and the price for monthly service is less than a Netflix account, and there's no contact, you can cancel at anytime. It provides very accurate GPS data and keeps up with history, as well as a color trail of the path(s) taken, where the color changes along the trail according to traveling speed. A+
it works very well. the geo-circles and mapping detail are excellent. only wish it was closer to live data but good for tracking my elderly parent and fast enough for me to give directions over the phone. UPDATE We've been using this for a couple of years now. I received an alert late one night. I was hoping someone wasn't taking the car out. It actually was a low battery alert. This allowed me to pick up a battery and put it in the next morning without being late for an appointment.
I've had this app for over a year. Not only is it the cheapest (considering how often it refreshes/ updates locations), but it is very reliable too. It also gives me check engine light codes, and reminds me when an oil change is due. Finally, it alerts when the speed limit is exceeded, hard stops and fast accelerations, along with alerting to a possible accident. Top notch, can't praise it enough!
Overall I really like it. It would be even better if I could control volume and type of sound for the alerts, to differentiate from other sounds my phone makes, and to make sure I can actually hear it. If I'm sleeping and someone steals my truck, I'm not likely to hear the alert. Another thing I REALLY wish they'd improve on is the menu. Finding the vehicle history takes me 5 minutes every time. I don't access it enough to remember, and it's really hard to find on the app. Why not a better menu to access everything from? There is also a little bit of delay in the location alerts, but not too bad. Lots I like about it, but not mentioning because that's pretty much just everything else that's included.
The app and the service offer very valuable information for car rental purposes and i find myself relying on it very often. Unfortunately, every single time I open the app to view alerts that come in, the bottom of my screen goes totally dead. I can't click on 75% of my screen to view anything in the app. It's as if my screen just doesnt work all of a sudden. Only way to fix it is go hit force stop in settings, only for it to happen again the next time I pull up the app.
Great device. I own 3 now. Perfect tracking. Great information on a great user interface. However, app seems to be under constant development. Very buggy on multiple different devices. So I know its issues in the app and not the device. Find myself closing and reopening to get it to work. Often multiple times during my view. Very frustrating.
Not Intuitive and stopped working after 7 months. I had to reset the app and device after the battery in my dad's car died. I followed the instructions but I cant get into the app. I log in and the app asks for the vin. I enter it and it says "already registered". I enter any number to bypass and it says "already registered". It would be so much easier if there was a sync option in the app, but there isn't. If customer service gets back to me, and get it to work again, I'll change my review.
DO NOT UPDATE THIS APP !!! After updating the app, I can stop to get gas and go inside the store to buy something, and the app never shows me stop or even turn into the store. Also, I like to time my trips, but it's now usless. Trips now show my car continue to idle for 5 minutes after the ignition is turned off and the door opened. We are being ripped off. The update interval is advertised as 15 seconds, it's more like 5 minutes !!! FIX IT BACK !!!
One of three best self-gifts ever!!! I think their "hard breaking" setting is way too sensitive (8 mph in 400 ft, really!), so you have to set it to "extreme" but other than that it's absolutely perfect. I just hope they don't jack with the subscription fee. NOTE: This is for my car and not my son, so my use case is different than many others. (BTW, the other two best self-gifts ever are the Logitech G-key enabled keyboards and Fitcamx dash cam.)
Been using it for about a month and it works flawlessly. Worth every penny! No real complaints, it has a ton of great features and is very accurate gps. Couple small upgrades would make it perfect. Wish the geofence was a little easier to set up. You put in an address and it makes a huge circle which you CAN shrink, But there's nothing to confirm your changes. You just exit out and go back in and the circle is big again. Wish it was able to disable the vehicle in case of a theft. 1yr update: 👍
