Wasn't sure I needed a program like this but I love it! makes it super easy to keep track of my beers. Brew day is really easy and tracking fermentation worth a Plaato bubble is nice. The tools included are easy to use and move to have in one convenient place.

It's such a handy tool to have. If you are a serious brewer this is the app for you. It makes recipe making easy. It's nice to be able to scale recipes up or down without doing all the math myself. It's also worth subscribing for the premium version.

I've been using Brewfather for years, and it's a fantastic bit of software. I do wish i could just purchase it once, as I hate subscription models... but I understand why. I wouldn't bother using anything else as it's so feature packed.

Great App that does what it should. Only 4 stars because I'm missing an option. It would be awesome to review recipes in categories of appearance, smell, taste, aftertaste and drinkability. Like and dislike only does not help the brewer to improve the recipe.

Brilliant app. Every time I use the app I find more features that amaze me. This time around I found in the batch log I can record gravity and temperature at various points through fermentation and it plots graphs. The tools are superb, water calculations give auto adjustment and deliver mash Ph very close to prediction. Lots of integration for equipment if you need it. All in all excellent.

Edit: Now the permissions have been set to what the app needs. I tried the app and it's great. Original: Too many permissions, too little privacy. Why does it need my GPS location, camera access, microphone access and to read my phone status and identity (way too much info there). This is from a Norwegian developer, and in Norway we value our and others privacy.

Awesome app. It makes formulating recipes and then brewing your batches so easy. It's predictive functions are fantastic, and it's batch tracking is great. Using the app has taught me a lot about brewing, and the quality of my beer shows what I've learned. It's much better than it used to be. A very robust app, that has no negatives I can find. Highly recommended.

I am loving this app, it is very complete and it is incredibly helpful while brewing. The library is full of recipes that inspired several of my new creations, and this is really the perfect assistant that helps brewing. Only thing I would love to see added is a beer tasting functionality. When taste testing my batch, using a standardized testing can really help identify what needs improving, even more so if there is some times between several batches of the same recipe.

This app does pretty much everything you could possibly ask for. I started with the free trial and planned to try out beersmith as well before making a decision to commit to one or the other, but loved this one enough that i just upgraded to premium and never even touched beersmith. Extremely user friendly imo. The recipe design function & Water tool is probably my favorite aspects of the app. The only knock i have is that i haven't figured out a good way to keep track of split batches yet. 🍻

This is nothing short of sensational. I've been using beersmith on my computer, and while functional, it has left me frustrated with the UI and software design. This fixes and improves all of my beersmith gripes. This entire package is a no brainier, you've just got yourself another premium member. Great work guys.

Switching to brewfather (from a mis-match of beersmith, brewer's friend, ingredient inventory lists on my phone, and a physical logbook) represented a huge change in my brewing workflow. Recipe development is simplified, inventory tracking is a breeze, readings are easier to make sense of with the automatic graphs. Brewfather is a well thought out app with great ux.

I love this app. Not only can I sit at my laptop and create recipes. I can then adjust on the fly on my phone. Great for that. My fermentation is integrated electronically (Rapt). if I am looking for ideas or recipes - library is huge. yeah not sure about others, but I am not changing.

On the surface i was using this to grab recipes initially but once i got into building a grain bill and working out the water chemistry this has become a tool that worth paying for. Once you work out your water profile in your area you can easily dial in a recipe to what you need as additions or to get the PH into the zone. Making a recipe is also really simple and you can base it off a specific style.

best app I have used for anything, bit of an extreme statement, but it is so easy to use has all the tools and integrations. perfect for beginner to advanced. would be great to have more 'trusted' recipes as there are not that many with lots of thumbs up so hard to know. maybe the ability to follow others would be great.

I've been using this beer app for about 9 months. After my first couple batches using this app I found it very easy to use. I've been using B.S. for many years and it's ok but I don't need or use all the bells and whistles. I also use B.F. and it lacks just a bit in the water chemistry. The only thing I dislike about this brewing app is the timer. Guys in my brew club complain about the timer as well

I really like the app. It's easy to use, instinctive and works well with my ispindel! If I may suggest something for a futur update, I find the evaluation of my beer to be a bit too simple. Yeah, commenting and rating it is good, but I feel like a place for a picture of the beer plus a flavor/aroma spider chart would make it even greater! I hope you'll consider it, cheers! 😉

Great app with a really polished UI and allows homebrewers to keep records, alter batches and monitor stock levels. The only think stopping me purchasing the annual subscription is the lack of support for CRS / AMS in the water treatment section. It's a minor point but is widely used in the UK to reduce alkalinity of brewing liquor in place of lactic or phosphoric acid. Even without it the app is great.

fantastic software id love to see a few updates to ingredients, and some more options but what a brilliant resource

Great brewing tool. Easy to use, clear, well organized GUI. Lots of customizable options, makes recipe adjustments a piece of cake. Enter different amounts of hops or grains and instantly calculate ABV and IBU. Was happy to pay for premium version and have full access to the recipe library and other resources. Good support too. Wasn't sure about a couple things so emailed the developers and got a reply with answers so extra stars for that! And no ads.
