Wasn't sure I needed a program like this but I love it! makes it super easy to keep track of my beers. Brew day is really easy and tracking fermentation worth a Plaato bubble is nice. The tools included are easy to use and move to have in one convenient place.
It's such a handy tool to have. If you are a serious brewer this is the app for you. It makes recipe making easy. It's nice to be able to scale recipes up or down without doing all the math myself. It's also worth subscribing for the premium version.
I've been using Brewfather for years, and it's a fantastic bit of software. I do wish i could just purchase it once, as I hate subscription models... but I understand why. I wouldn't bother using anything else as it's so feature packed.
Great App that does what it should. Only 4 stars because I'm missing an option. It would be awesome to review recipes in categories of appearance, smell, taste, aftertaste and drinkability. Like and dislike only does not help the brewer to improve the recipe.
Brilliant app. Every time I use the app I find more features that amaze me. This time around I found in the batch log I can record gravity and temperature at various points through fermentation and it plots graphs. The tools are superb, water calculations give auto adjustment and deliver mash Ph very close to prediction. Lots of integration for equipment if you need it. All in all excellent.
Edit: Now the permissions have been set to what the app needs. I tried the app and it's great. Original: Too many permissions, too little privacy. Why does it need my GPS location, camera access, microphone access and to read my phone status and identity (way too much info there). This is from a Norwegian developer, and in Norway we value our and others privacy.
Awesome app. It makes formulating recipes and then brewing your batches so easy. It's predictive functions are fantastic, and it's batch tracking is great. Using the app has taught me a lot about brewing, and the quality of my beer shows what I've learned. It's much better than it used to be. A very robust app, that has no negatives I can find. Highly recommended.
I am loving this app, it is very complete and it is incredibly helpful while brewing. The library is full of recipes that inspired several of my new creations, and this is really the perfect assistant that helps brewing. Only thing I would love to see added is a beer tasting functionality. When taste testing my batch, using a standardized testing can really help identify what needs improving, even more so if there is some times between several batches of the same recipe.
This app does pretty much everything you could possibly ask for. I started with the free trial and planned to try out beersmith as well before making a decision to commit to one or the other, but loved this one enough that i just upgraded to premium and never even touched beersmith. Extremely user friendly imo. The recipe design function & Water tool is probably my favorite aspects of the app. The only knock i have is that i haven't figured out a good way to keep track of split batches yet. 🍻
This is nothing short of sensational. I've been using beersmith on my computer, and while functional, it has left me frustrated with the UI and software design. This fixes and improves all of my beersmith gripes. This entire package is a no brainier, you've just got yourself another premium member. Great work guys.
