Tried to get a psychiatrist for starting prescription treatment, but all I was offered was therapy. App and site have bad programming, as not even the therapist could find where forms and options were for me. More effort than my mental health is worth, I'm afraid. Best of luck to everyone else. ✌️

The app is mostly user friendly, but I have a problem when messaging because I can't see what I am typing. My keyboard goes over the text box, which forces me to have to keep opening and closing the keyboard to check for any typos... pretty annoying. I hope that this can be fixed

This is the best thing I have found that has anything to do with my health insurance! No more worries about getting ready to go somewhere just pick up your phone and they are at your fingertips! Awesome Dr's, and app also! No more searching this is the perfect one for me! Just make sure you are on time because they charge, they could've been with another client making money. Be respectful of everyone's time.

I was charged over $600 by Brightside without being notified first. When I tried to contact them, no one answered or returned my calls. I’ve also requested my health records several times so I can continue therapy elsewhere, but they still haven’t sent them. Poor communication and lack of transparency have made an already stressful situation worse.

I selected this service because it was offered by Cigna. When I enrolled I entered all that information yet was still billed out of pocket. When I contacted customer service he made it sound like I had selected the out of pocket option. No offer to submit for claims and said it could only be fixed at my next billing cycle. Can only schedule appointments one at a time so there's inconsistency week to week. App prompted me to update and now it won't work.

Got me for $165 when the portal mysteriously went down and for hours I asked for help leading up to the appointment, even sending screenshots. I Uninstalled on app 3 of my devices to continuously re-download them. I assumed at first it was an honest mistake. Until the only responses I received were about the consequences of missing the appointment. Even daring to ask if I wanted to reschedule. When the portal does not work? Unbelievable.

The therapists are great! The app not so much... You can only schedule one session at a time and are not able to schedule longer sessions when needed. The messages are really reserved for when the therapist is making sure you're on time to meetings and is not used for additional patient support as suggested, like to reach out to your therapist is a moment of need. It falls short of expectations on many fronts. The 3 stars really is for the therapist.

I heavily dislike that we cannot schedule multiple appointments at once. Make me feel like I have no consistency, just random appointments where they fit the therapists schedule. Also, the rigid four sessions a month is tough to work with, as my schedule doesn't line up with the available appointments, so I might miss a session... Also, my therapist has consistently shown up 5-7 minutes late to 3 of our 4 sessions. When sessions are 45 mins, that is a long time to wait to be seen. Be cautious!

I was matched quickly with counseling but both times I attempted the match was poor. The first counselor did not want to move forward feeling at a disadvantage using the virtual format and the 2nd had never used the service and unprepared for my session. Both sessions began 10 minutes late. Lessons are voiced by what sounds like a woman conjured in a lab to sound soothing which isn't soothing. Once you listen to a video it seems you can't re watch. Guided meditation is rushed. App terrible.

I thought this app was great when I filled out the initial stuff and immediately got a therapist appointment for a few days later and I liked the therapist! But after that session, making a second appointment isn't possible. She has no availability for the next 2 weeks!!When I asked her what I should do and told her that I would prefer having regular meetings, she said brightside doesn't support that yet and I should check back periodically to see if there are any cancellations! :(
