So here's my honest take on Brilliant: Learn by doing. I've tested a bunch of educational apps and this one's up there with the best. The interactive lessons are super engaging and cover a ton of ground, from basic math to advanced computer science. I like how you can learn at your own pace and there's built-in practice and challenges to really cement the concepts. On the flip side, it can start to feel repetitive after a long stretch, and the ads get old quick. But for the most part, Brilliant is a really polished, effective way to level up your STEM skills.

Description

Been using Brilliant: Learn by doing for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you sharpen your math, data, and computer science skills in little 5-10 minute lessons. Pretty solid if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you do: there’s a ton of interactive lessons covering everything from algebra and calculus to AI and quantum mechanics. You can work through the courses at your own pace and it even has quizzes and challenges to test your understanding. And it’s got a really polished, intuitive interface too – took me a while to figure out all the features but they’re pretty useful.

Look, if you’re into learning STEM topics, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the lessons can get a bit repetitive after a while and the ads can be annoying if you don’t pay. But overall it does the job and I’ve found it to be a pretty helpful learning tool. Worth checking out if that’s your thing.

Meh. Leagues and streaks are not necessary or valuable. I'm not a fan of the Duolingo style system, so this app, sadly, feels like a bust for me. Very intriguing,...

I actually love this form of learning, I'm very much a hands-on person, and Brilliant is just my speed. Now, of course, to unlock unlimited use, you must fork over...
