So here's my take on Brother Artspira. I've tested a bunch of design and crafting apps, and this one's pretty solid. The interface is simple to use and there's a ton of creative possibilities, from editing templates to making your own stuff from scratch. The AI-powered features are cool but the subscription is a bummer. Personally, I find the free tools more than enough to make some really nice custom projects. If you're into that kind of thing, I'd say give it a download and see how you like it.

Description

Been using Brother Artspira for a couple months now. It’s basically a mobile app that lets you design and create your own embroidery and cutting projects. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you do: you can edit the built-in library designs, upload your own artwork, or even draw stuff from scratch. There’s also a cool feature that can convert images into embroidery patterns – you have to pay for that though. And there’s a bunch of cutting tools too, like tracing and drawing your own cut lines.

Look, if you’re into arts and crafts or DIY projects, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the subscription model can be annoying – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want to make your own custom embroidery and cut designs.

Seems like you need to have a subscription to use multiple colours for designing your own patterns... what a scam I will be returning my skitch. Stupid artificially imposed paywalls......
