So here's my honest take on Bugs and Buttons. I've tested a bunch of kids' educational apps and this one's pretty solid. The graphics are really cute and polished, and the variety of mini-games keeps it interesting. And sure, it gets a little repetitive after a while, but the difficulty ramps up nicely so it stays challenging. Not gonna lie, the ads can be a pain, but you can pay to remove them. Overall though, I'd say it's a great option if you're looking for an app to keep the little ones entertained while sneaking in some learning.

Pros

  • Tons of different mini-games and activities to keep it fresh
  • Graphics are really polished and visually appealing
  • Free to play, don't have to spend money to enjoy it
  • Difficulty scales well so it's not too easy or too hard
  • Achievements add a fun little incentive to keep playing

Cons

  • Can get a bit repetitive after playing for a while
  • Ads are pretty annoying, especially if you don't pay to remove them
  • Some of the games take a bit of time to figure out

Description

Been playing Bugs and Buttons for a couple months now. It’s basically a collection of mini-games and activities all based around bugs, buttons, and other cute critters. Pretty solid app if you’re into casual, family-friendly games.

Here’s what you do: there’s tic-tac-toe with a dragonfly, apple picking where you gotta avoid the bees, and a conveyor belt where you sort buttons and bugs. It’s got a bunch of different games like that – over 18 in total. There’s also achievements you can unlock, which is a nice little added incentive.

Look, if you’re into educational games for kids (or just anyone who likes bugs), you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the ads can get annoying after a while – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out, especially since it’s free to play.

Popular iPad game comes to Android! Yay. I saw it was available for Kindle Fire a month or so back, and was bummed it wasn't available on all devices, but...
