Pre burn review – I love that it’s offline. There doesn’t seem to be a way to refresh it when I am online though. I know some events were updated and I don’t see the updated info.

*Update: Fixed! Thanks for the great app and support!* I’m really liking this interface, however the music favorites selection is very broken right now. Hope you can fix this in time because this looks to be amazingly useful!
So far, this seems like the best burner app I’ve seen. I usually download a couple each year if there are multiple options. But I really love the look and functionality of this one.
About to use for the first time, cool stuff so far. Often when looking at events I can’t back out, it shimmies and starts on the event page. I reset the app to start over.
it would be cool to update the map on my phone with my and other addresses!
Love the app and the vision. I think the events need to be able to be added to favourites as well as the camps but the whole thing will bring a new level of fun to Burn events. Can’t wait to use at the event!
Really awesome idea but not the best execution. I was under the impression this app would work offline and was sure to download the content before I went to my event. However it clearly did not work until I reactivated my data and picked up a tiny bit of signal out in the middle of […]
Wouldn’t load for me at E11 at all, just stayed on the launching screen :/ P.S. I had opened it several times before the burn and specifically chose E11 to load the schedule. Once you do that, it should be downloaded for the next time you open it. Reply: I did try putting my phone […]
This app has been a game changer! It was built for Burning Man but has been adopted by so many regional events and festivals. I used it at the Arizona regional event (Saguaro Man) and the ease of use and the Geo location capabilities really help. It is also easy to sort and filter event […]
Cool concept, a few tweaks for the UI would make a world of difference IMO. A way to favorite the event you’re attending so it would be the first thing to show up on the screen would be ideal. Right now I have to swipe through a bunch of regionals every time I open and […]
This app has been a tremendous resource in past events. Thanks for all of your hard work! This time however, it has become extremely twitchy and unstable when attempting to access location. This happens for every event with coordinates & severely cripples the app. (Samsung Android)
Some wonky interations. Scrolling down the event list, sometimes it just jumps forward by hours and there is no way to scroll back up. Can we just all agree as software developers that’s lazy loading pages are a bad idea? And if this is supposed to work offline why do that anyway, it’s not like […]
love this app. incredibly helpful and appreciate the work that has gone into making it.
pretty good app. except, I have android and there’s one weird bug where it sometimes freezes on a camp or event entry, and then VIBRATES when you try to do something on the page (bookmark something, for example) the vibration freezes you on the page. have to press the power button to get out. may […]
Amazing app for the burn. Research and plan your whole week. Map out when and where. Bookmark all your friends’ camps.
Very useful for a burn. one thing I’ve noticed is if you have a bunch of events in favorites, it will crash every time you try to add another favorite.
This turned out to be the best digital resource that the Playa had to offer by far. I still think there a few feature opportunities. The search filtering currently sucks. You might get relevant matches, but might get nothing or lots of extra stuff. I also would love to see a notes section for just […]
Shows what I need but seems glitchy on Android. it’s my first time using and going through the camps it works fine but then sometimes the Favorite symbol doesn’t show, sometimes it bugs out and flashes, if I open Events and then use the back button it keeps the events from that camp open but […]
Really brings the features, drives participant investment, and allows on-site navigation. At the same time, allows offline and non-mobile sharing of the same information. As a regional burn volunteer, I’m happy with the offloading of some infrastructure setup and the capability for attendees to update their own events live without too much of my involvement. […]
Update – works great after the quick fix! Thanks! 5β New update 2.93 broke the screen scaling for on Android (Galaxy S22). Button bar for events etc is now hidden behind the native Android navigation bar. Great app, but now impossible to view events or anything else located on the bottom navigation bar. Help?? π
