Reviews for Burn Guide – dust

Pre burn review - I love that it's offline. There doesn't seem to be a way to refresh it when I am online though. I know some events were updated and I don't see the updated info.

*Update: Fixed! Thanks for the great app and support!* I'm really liking this interface, however the music favorites selection is very broken right now. Hope you can fix this in time because this looks to be amazingly useful!

So far, this seems like the best burner app I've seen. I usually download a couple each year if there are multiple options. But I really love the look and functionality of this one.

About to use for the first time, cool stuff so far. Often when looking at events I can't back out, it shimmies and starts on the event page. I reset the app to start over.

it would be cool to update the map on my phone with my and other addresses!

Love the app and the vision. I think the events need to be able to be added to favourites as well as the camps but the whole thing will bring a new level of fun to Burn events. Can't wait to use at the event!

Really awesome idea but not the best execution. I was under the impression this app would work offline and was sure to download the content before I went to my event. However it clearly did not work until I reactivated my data and picked up a tiny bit of signal out in the middle of nowhere. I really think this app should work without data.

Wouldn't load for me at E11 at all, just stayed on the launching screen :/ P.S. I had opened it several times before the burn and specifically chose E11 to load the schedule. Once you do that, it should be downloaded for the next time you open it. Reply: I did try putting my phone in airplane mode and it still didn't work.

This app has been a game changer! It was built for Burning Man but has been adopted by so many regional events and festivals. I used it at the Arizona regional event (Saguaro Man) and the ease of use and the Geo location capabilities really help. It is also easy to sort and filter event info. I our camp leads and artists love it because they can go in and update their own entries, schedule events, add photos, etc. We also export a CSV from dust and use it for our event posters.

Cool concept, a few tweaks for the UI would make a world of difference IMO. A way to favorite the event you're attending so it would be the first thing to show up on the screen would be ideal. Right now I have to swipe through a bunch of regionals every time I open and doesn't seem to be a way around it.
