Description
Been using ButterflyMX for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you control access to your property – you can unlock doors, gates, elevators, all from your phone. Pretty solid if you’re into that kinda thing.
Here’s what you do: you can open any connected entry point on your property with just a tap. And there’s also a way to give Visitor Passes to friends, family, or delivery people so they can get in when you’re not home. And the Delivery Passes feature is cool – you get notified when packages arrive so you can let the driver in.
Look, if you’re always forgetting your keys or hate dealing with physical keys, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – can be a little glitchy sometimes – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want more control over who accesses your place.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on ButterflyMX. I've tested a bunch of property access apps and this one's pretty solid. The core features work well - it's super convenient being able to unlock things right from my phone. The visitor/delivery pass stuff is handy too. But it's not flawless - the app can be a little buggy at times. And I'm not a huge fan of how some of the settings are buried in menus. Overall though, it's a pretty good option if you're looking for a smart access solution.
