sometimes I messed up and I don't realize I have a winner and then I scan it and realize I have a winner and I'm like damn thank God for this app because if I didn't have it I would have lost that $10 thank you*/,

updated app and now doesn't work even had to uninstall and reinstall. now won't scan tickets. disappointing

App was fine for months. Recently, no longer updates the history of results for Mega Millions (i.e. it says Refreshing, but no real numbers are showing of past winning numbers and amounts). cleared cache, data, reinstalled to no avail. Fix please? Otherwise, defeats the purpose to have the app atm, aside from future drawing notices.

I can only imagine how things are going now, I'm so freaking frustrated I have totally stopped trying to scan my tickets. the app never seems to work properly therefore I find myself having to run back and forth to the store. it's not worth downloading, waisted time and phone space.

I enjoy the App, and is very informative. I've been playing second chance game for a long time, I'm still waiting for a winning miracle.

I love this app. It's convenient to have and use when you can't get to a retail store. But I have a question, is there a location within the app that will give you the current cost to play all number picking games? And if there isn't something in the app that can always give that information... Maybe it can possibly be added to an upgrade. If it's not too much trouble. But all-in-all, I love the app.

I use it for tickets purchased in Shoshone, CA. The only problem is I don't live in CA and I sometimes wait too long for my small wins ($1 -$4) tickets and end up not getting them cashed in before they expire. It happened only once but one time too many and now the cost of a ticket is $5 so I won't be going unless I cash in same day for scratches only. Sad cause I played the max weeks at a time for 3 games.

My app used to work. Now- I am able to scam for winning tickets but it won't scan 2nd chance. Same scanner, one works- one doesn't.

i have always loved this app. it is set up super simple & you can scan in your 2nd chance tickets quick & with ease.. i would have given it 5 stars..-but unfortunately, my phone ended up breaking, and i had to downgrade to one of my old obama phones. For some reason, it cannot read any of the barcodes, making it unable to scan any of my tickets! i can still manually input them, but it takes Soooo long compared to scanning them in.

users beware: this is a bogus app. I downloaded it thinking it actually had something to do with the lottery. then I opened the app and it is for online casino gaming. it wanted me to create an account for the gambling and nothing in the app menu or anywhere else indicates there is any actual connection to the lottery. I am so glad I didn't bother to create an account or input any critical information. I'm not going to say this app is fraud or a scam but if it looks like a duck...

update made it impossible to scan and check scratch offs. Before the update there where no issues scanning and checking a ticket. But when the update happened it now constantly says error when you scan scratch offs. I'd give it zero stars if I could

When you have more than one ticket to scan for second chance, it would be MUCH more user friendly to have "Scan another" or something rather than having to click 5 times to scan the second ticket. SOME people buy 10-20 tickets.. Why not make it easy? SUPER GLITCHY ON PIXEL 9 PRO

This is a pretty good app, but it would be better if it used different colors for the results when scanning tickets. A loser ticket and a future undrawn ticket give very similar looking results in blue. I would suggest using an amber color for undrawn tickets.

9/18/2025 - Thebwop works as expected during the day, butSometimes I get an error message when trying to scan tickets at night. 1/21/2022 - Free app keeps crashing and won't open. Can't check tickets anymore after recent update. When trying to check a ticket the app takes me to a page advertising the new scratches. Also when selecting 2nd chance option I'm brought to a sign in page while I'm already signed in.

Although it is easy to scan your tickets it's super frustrating when almost every time you have tickets to scan the system is always having issues and is down. So my tickets don't get scanned because it says try again later. But who knows when later is. I still have tickets from weeks ago I haven't been able to scan them in for the weekly drawings. So there's an opportunity I lost due to their system being totally unreliable. Which is why I'm writing my review. It's happened yet again.

I've been using this app FOR YEARS with little to no problems. Then, late Feb 2021, problems began off and on. As of 3/5/21, it doesn't read the ticket bar codes. I get an error message to try later...EVERY TIME. Hopefully you all are working to fix the problem(s). Btw, I believe there was an UPDATE on 3/6/21 as the site had a different look. It's not like we can choose another CA Lottery app. This is it...

I've pretty much been using this app since it became available. And I've NEVER had any problems with it. BUT, for the past 3 day's, the, "2nd Chance" feature hasn't been working and nothing is being done about it. Every other feature works fine. I only downloaded this app for the 2nd chance feature, because, it's a lot quicker than typing them in online. But, now that it's not working, no need keeping the app.

Pretty good app ... when it's working. Allows you to check your tickets quickly to see if you won one of the main California lottery prizes, or a Second Chance prize, as opposed to manually trying to compare the numbers on tickets to the winning numbers, which takes forever and can lead to mistakes. But the negative is the app often has slowdowns or crashes, which means you can't check your tickets, which defeats the whole purpose of the app. Works best if you are near your modem.

I have been having a lot of issues with this app lately. It has been freezing plus it keeps saying I have no internet connection (when I do) so I have to keep signing in! I don't get reminders either to update it which it really needs!! Please fix your App!!!!! Update: 1-23-2020 The check a ticket works most of the time but then the app will not let me enter the 2nd chance tix. It keeps saying "an error occured please check back later" I'm starting to think they don't want us to enter!
