So here's my honest take on Caddy - Second Phone Number. I've tested a bunch of communication apps and this one's pretty solid. The setup is quick and easy, and the ability to choose your own area code is a nice touch. And i also like that it works over WiFi and data so you're not dependent on your main phone number. On the downside, the free trial is kind of short and the paid plan is a little pricey in my opinion. But if you need a reliable second number, Caddy gets the job done.

Description

I’ve been using Caddy – Second Phone Number for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you get a free second phone number for calls, texts, and voicemail. Pretty solid if you’re looking to keep your personal number private.

Here’s what you do: you just download the app, pick a local number, and you’re good to go. There’s also voicemail included, which is pretty cool. And you can manage up to 10 different numbers on the app – for work, personal use, dating, whatever.

Look, if you value your privacy and want a simple way to get a second line, you’ll probably like Caddy. It’s not perfect – the free trial only lasts a week – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.

It won't keep my battery setting on unrestricted so I am missing calls and texts.
